Below is a list of notable (in my view, anyways) cuts around the NFL today when teams had to get down to 65 players:

Arizona: JP Comella, FB-former Boston College Star

Buffalo: James Jett, WR-former Raiders star

Carolina: Skip Hicks, RB-former Redskin

Chicago: Casey Urlacher, FB-brother of Chicago all-pro LB Brian Urlacher

Denver: Ben Kelley, CB-former Patriot

Green Bay: Akili Smith, QB-former Bengals starting quarterback

New Orleans: Walt Williams, RB-was in Patriots camp last year

Philadelphia: Carl Morris, WR-former Harvard star

St. Louis: Owen Pochman, PK-was in a previous Patriots camp. Leon Johnson, RB-former Chicago Bears running back.

San Francisco: Rashaan Salaam, RB-former college football superstar

Tampa Bay: Jacquez Green, WR

Washinton: Tre Johnson, OL

Keep in mind that rosters will be trimmed down again to a final 53 on Sunday, August 31.
