It's easy, and only takes a few moments. Why would you assume Garoppolo would be worth more than McCarron?Ok, there's some problems here. The Browns picks are of equal value to the 49ers and including a 3rd rounder, or not including a 3rd rounder is a BIG deal. It seemed that Garoppolo would have been worth more than McCarron, so what's up?
McCarron is a restricted free agent in 2018, Jimmy "sucks" G will be a unrestricted free agent in 2018.Ok, there's some problems here. Potential is worth a lot in this league and that's exactly what Garoppolo is.Why would you assume Garoppolo would be worth more than McCarron?
He's hormonal, don't expect much that makes sense.Edit: Hey, @AndyJohnson, if you're gonna disagree, at least say why.
#2 for AJ McCarron
#3 for Katherine Webb-McCarron

Belichick wasn't going to deal Jimmy to the Browns (AFC, and IMHO he wanted to put Jimmy in a decent, but safe, spot). He only sought out the 49ers, and when there's only one buyer, the price goes down.
Also, we're talking about the Browns.

Then, on Twitter, NFL insider Benjamin Allbright posted a series of tweets that conveyed some internal dismay over the Garoppolo trade. Because it spanned over five tweets, I will transpose it here:
I got several emails last night that the coaching staff for Browns is HIGHLY upset at the front office. Coaches were in the building working, and the front office went home at 5 PM. While coaches continued to work the night before the trade deadline, Sashi Brown was unaware of the Jimmy G trade and was actually informed of it by an irate coaching staff who had lobbied to acquire him, over an hour after it happened.
The only piece I disagree with is the part regarding the AFC. We sent them a pretty solid LB you may recallBelichick wasn't going to deal Jimmy to the Browns (AFC, and IMHO he wanted to put Jimmy in a decent, but safe, spot).
