Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

The level of your naivete is incredible. The NFL owners don't give a damn about this. In fact, all publicity is good publicity, as long as they spell your name right.

There are millions of people that don't believe Kraft has anything to be ashamed of, regardless of guilt, because he didn't do anything wrong!

You think that pretending to be remorseful (for what?) and take his slap on the wrist (is he a child or a man?) is going to make a difference?

F*ck that, this overzealous SA invaded people's privacy for political reasons, he needs to be challenged. This isn't about perception any more, what's done is done. Kraft doesn't believe he did anything wrong and I for one agree with him.
Prostitution is against the law. He paid for sex. Human Trafficking is real. The women in these cases do not talk, making the kingpins hard to pin down. They are in fear. There family and themselves are threatened. Yes right at the moment they do not have the kingpins because the girls will not cooperate. But that does not mean Law Enforcement should not keep trying. Kudos to that Florida CountyLaw Dept. We are not going to become a better country until we have law enforcement that keeps trying to finally get one or two of these girls to speak.
You say I am naive. My daughter is in the States Probation Dept in regards to Human Trafficking. She said this case is textbook. They are brought and promised to be nail tech’s and citizenship. They are then brought here to become slaves and threatened to keep their silence. So please with your pompous know it all attitude.
Your nothing more than an uninformed moron

I'm confused, are you saying the NFL owns Gillette and Kraft has a mortgage on it or is a tenant? Most of your examples entail one party owning something and the other paying to stay or buy it. The HOA one doesn't really apply because they would have to jump through a hell of a lot of hoops to get you out of your property, especially if a bank is involved.

Anyway, good luck to GOoDell as some of you have anointed him if he tries to keep Kraft out of his own stadium.
Did you see the subthread? Someone was saying he couldn’t fathom how any property owner could be willing to give up some rights in his property by agreement/contract and I was pointing out it’s incredibly common for property owners to do just that.

Goodell won’t need any luck. Kraft voluntarily signed an agreement allowing Goodell to do just that. And Kraft voluntarily signed an agreement prohibiting him from suing the league. He doesn’t have a leg to stand on if Goodell suspends him and says he can’t be in the stadium.

When Irsay was suspended, he was not allowed at any of the team facilities or team events. I assume the stadium is considered a team facility. That's kinda what a suspension is.

Because he was pulled over to be identified since they knew he was in tape.
They did not know he was famous, so when they reviewed the tape and were ready to make an arrest it would be nice to gave find out who to arrest

If your argument is that he wasn’t a suspect then why did they pull him over and ask for his id?
Random time killing?
There's lots of questions to be answered. Does anyone wonder why after what was reported to be a lengthy investigation that it was suddenly completed only over after it was Bob Kraft that was caught up in it? I've been wondering how it came to be that he wound up there right at the end when they decided it was time to make arrests? Who told him about the place? Why that place?

He was responding to whether you can contract to give up rights to a property and those are all examples where it is done.
He was not saying kraft mortgaged the stadium to the nfl, he was saying kraft contracted away some right to his property in his agreement with the nfl, specifically the right that the league could ban him from being there under certain circumstances.

You seem to like to think that when someone gives an example of something similar and analogous that the are claiming it’s exactly the same thing. I’m not sure why you have that disconnect.

He was there more than a month before he was charged.

Pretty sure the cops can just claim they thought they smelled weed across the parking lot from the direction of Kraft’s car and the Supreme Court will uphold the stop as legal.
Quite honestly, the simple fact that he was observed leaving an establishment of known prostitution would constitute probable cause right there for most judges.

Is that what this is about, Deflategate?

I don't want to get off track here, but Kraft DID let Brady fight Deflategate and when it became abundantly apparent that the league wasn't backing down, Kraft (and I'm sure he wasn't alone) wanted to move on. Turned out pretty well too. Brady's 5th and possibly his best season ever. It didn't exactly tear down the team.

What does that even mean that Kraft let Brady fight? Like, he didn’t legally block him from using his rights? Kraft was an epic ****ee about Deflategate. He and Roger Goodell gave each other a big hug and good ole Bob took his medicine like a good boy. And let’s not give him credit for Brady’s 2016 season. Brady was an major injury away from being remembered as Lance Armstrong 2.0. For many, this recent scandal is just an extra kick to an already broken legacy, myself included.

So what do you think the cop could have said: I just saw you leaving the massage parlor and wanted to know who you are in case I need a reference? Or, there have been Bentleys being robbed in the neighborhood and want to make sure you two old azz gentlemen didn't jack this one?

I mean you're not suggesting he said: you are a suspect so I need to see your id when we go to arrest you.

Maybe he simply said, Mr. Kraft is that you? Sorry but I had to pull you over to make sure it was you, my boyz aren't going to believe me, can I take a pic of your id?

No need for such an angry blast...and FYI ,this same sarcastic putdown can be aimed right back at YOU...it's "YOU'RE nothing more than an uninformed moron". Venecol is not a moron and neither are you.

Doesn't matter. He went in which was his choice. He has only himself to blame.

and if anyone knows embarrassment it is you...the VERITABLE king of red faced mistakes.
He was a mistake from conception. When he was born his mother said, "Oops! Uh-oh ... "

I think Deus points out the doubt in this specific example, but I’m pretty sure that you’re on the right path.

Not a lawyer, but I think FL is one of those “stop and frisk” states, meaning that they can detain the car and force Kraft to ID based solely on the reasonable suspicion that a crime may have taken place. Considering the fact that they had a sting operation up and running, this is my official guess.

Agreed, and you hit on the key words: Reasonable suspicion.

Seeing a guy leave a rub-n-tug joint is not exactly proof positive he broke the law, but it sure as heck creates a pretty reasonable suspicion.

I'm sorry if you believe the 45 and 58 yo women that attended Kraft are sex slaves brought here against their will and threatened. I simply don't believe that at all.

Was there prostitution going on, yes probably, so what? They need to legalize it to reduce the abuse the women have to go through. I don't look down on prostitutes or call them whores, to me they are working women. They should be protected, regulated, and taxed just like any other service.

Joker. You did not have a reply icon. You are right I did get angry. I made a blanket statement. He directed his statement directly at me that I am naive. I don’t take kindly direct insults of my knowledge or interpretation. You will feel my anger at that point. Hell I watch you go off on people.
Since you have some longevity on this site. I will respect your warning. But when someone attacks me directly they will get my dark side. Just like I am sure you would do the same

I'm actually proud of my naivete, never having heard the term "rub-'n'-tug" before this thread. Such a sexy and romantic reference.

Especially if you’re running a sting operation and have someone watching the footage on a live feed camera.

I can suddenly hear Kraft’s voice asking for the rub and tug at the front desk. Hiccups and all.
