The virtue signalling dial has now been turned up way past 11.

Over a couple of BJs in a massage parlor.

I am sorry but I can't muster up enough empathy for a 77 year old rich guy who has had a twenty-something bimbo in his orbit for years. And while you bring up a good point about the girls who work in the place that to me is an entirely different aspect that I can still feel bad about while at the same time laughing at Kraft for being a dumbass.

Was that girlfriend of his post-Myra actually a bimbo? I don't know anything about her.

Ricki Noel Lander, I think?

If there are any team penalties (draft picks, etc.) then I want a full investigation of the 360,760 "owners" of the Green Bay Packers. I'm sure one of their "owners" has been found guilty of something.

(Yes I know the BOD are the owners of record for the Packers I'm just being a jerk)

My selfish take ...

Cop to it ... use new medication/age angle ... move on.
Penalty from league won't change but whatever ... he can afford the fine.
The woman being older works in his favor ... it's not as creepy.

I think a lot of people are missing the point here.

There are 3 people involved here.
1) The sex traffickers
2) The sex worker
3) Kraft

The problem is that both the sex trafficker and possibly Kraft have victimized the worker if true. It doesn't matter what the law says and it doesn't matter if Kraft was unaware. The fact that he did it to what may have been a sex slave, means she was victimized again at the hands of the Patriots owner. It's not a good look.

By trivializing Kraft's role in this, the victim is dehumanized again. The fact is that he may have unwillingly participated in the victimization of a victim of sex trafficking for his own gratification. If he did, and he was unaware, he should be just as shocked she was a sex slave and should cooperate fully and not try and cover his ass. By trying to beat the charges and deny it, if true, he shows little regard for her pain when it comes to his reputation. Let's just hope it's a case of mistaken identity.

The only thing I would change is using the term "sex worker", if the allegation is correct the term would be sex slave.

Yes a gift certificate to Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter. Congrats! Reviews are excellent.
Hmmm.. maybe competitors accept their coupons, like Shaw's does for Stop-n-Shop?

Maybe she was not and I fell victim to the kneejerk "what could a 40 year younger blond woman" have in common with Bob Kraft ? Maybe they really have/had some kind of weird connection but from the outside it really looked like he just wanted to have something he considered pretty hanging around him.

It's sad and pathetic that an older man who is widowed would seek some kind of sexual/female company?

If we grant that Kraft was unaware that those women were not there voluntary then I don't see how we can possibly critique him, other than for perhaps choosing a not-so-coy means of going about attaining this company he was seeking (which is an entirely silly critique to begin with).

I think it's rather harsh to call Bob Kraft a "foolish, dirty old man". Lacking judgment in this context is not equivalent to have some fundamental ethical flaw.

However, I do agree wholeheartedly that it's incredibly unfortunate and sad that those women were being forced into sexual slavery.
No, it's sad and pathetic that an older man who is widowed and already has a much younger GF as far as we know would seek THAT kind of sexual/female company (sleazy "massage" parlor) in his "HEY LOOK AT ME!!" Bentley. I don't think it's harsh at all to call him a foolish, dirty old man. The shoe fits.

You can call it "bad luck" for Kraft. Whether you think its reprehensible or a nothing burger, when Kraft walked into that massage parlor, he was taking a severe reputational risk that he did NOT need to take. It was either just irresponsible or dumb or arrogant. But as a billionaire, one would think he could hvae found a lower risk more private way to satisfy his urge.

Now he has dragged the entire organization and fan base down into this hole with him.

We all love the Pats here, and I wish this had never happened...BUT they got him and now there will be consequences. THis at a time whenn the organization should be completely basking in glory.

Yes and no. Completely agree with he was taking a meaningless and stupid risk. Disagree with bringing me personally down with him. I cannot tell him or you or anyone else what choices to make.

He will have to wear this, I will not. People have two choices, remain a fan or not. This is nothing IMO compared to the bull**** that was air pressure wars 2015-17 and spy fantasy 2007.

Sex/Human trafficking is a deplorable practice but has zero to do with me being a Pats’ fan. This is purely a criminal matter and if he WAS involved in trafficking he should absolutely be forced to sell and go to prison. Also his name should be scrubbed from every NFL annal.

For anyone who cares I’m still pumped about winning the bowl. Kraft and his alleged actions are his and his alone, this too shall pass. Go Pats!

I don't find it all that funny. It's beyond pathetic on so many levels that Bob Kraft would go to a place like that (in a Bentley no less - jacka$$), and very sad/heartbreaking for the women who were there against their will or because they had no where else to go for food and shelter. I don't think that Kraft knew or even thought about the sex-trafficking angle, but good God, you dumbass, what were you thinking? The details coming out are getting more disgusting by the minute. Alas, the great Bob Kraft is nothing but a foolish, dirty old man.
I agree up until that last part. I dont think it's fair to define a person by the worst thing they ever did.

Kraft will most likely be fined a couple million and suspended for 8 games.

But what is the evidence that he, you know, finished? If there is no evidence of that, they must acquit!
