Not sure why everyone assumes it will be Bucs v chiefs again. It's like they are giving up on the Pats season already

The Bucs are currently the best team in the NFC. One injury in a moment can change that but that’s what it is now. The Pats on the other hand aren’t even the best team in their division.

Everyone assumes that? Haha. Nope

do we need a new sub-board for TB fans? We already have a Tom Brady sub-forum.

For the love of God Ian get a hold of this forum. It is a patriots board, its bad enough you keep the Tompa thread on here, but if you continue to let every thread degenerate into a discussion of how some move is going to bother Tom Brady you may as well rename it Brady's Tampa forum so people who actually care about the Patriots know not to bother with this site.
Just acknowledge your ex's success and deal with it. Of course Tampa should be the measuring stick, they're the defending SB champs. Tom Brady will be a topic after he retires in Tampa. The question is how many rings does he manage while down there.

The Patriots have the makings of a decent team, by Patriots standards. One glaring, festering hole on the roster remains at QB. It's a week til draft. Tompa won the Sb. Relax.

Yeah you're right.

The only one that's close is Dallas vs Pittsburgh during the 70s.
Crazy stat, right? Couldn't believe it when I went and looked. Almost every year, you think these two teams will be back here, and it almost never happens.

How is this related to what I posted?

Is this where "context" needs to be explained to you? I ask because you started to post on the issue on page one, yet the context seems to have competely avoided your mind.

For years this forum has allowed threads on the main forum that pertain to the 31 other teams during the slower news period of the off season. Therefore there was nothing wrong with the placement of this thread, the Alex Smith retirement thread (which was somewhat Patriot related, as there had been speculation that the Pats could/should consider signing him), Deshaun Watson's legal troubles, the Steelers extending Mike Tomlin, etc. There should have been no problem with the creation of this topic as a thread in this forum.

But since this thread now has nothing to do with the original post and is bringing out the worst in all involved, it is closed.
