RAVENS GET #31 AND A THIRD AND 4TH ROUNDER THIS YEAR.
Two firsts for the Ravens next week.
Predicted his trade in my Mock but not to the Chiefs.

LOL they could have gotten a legit tackle prospect at 31. Brown is a hell of a tackle, but they could have saved themselves a considerable amount of money.

Yeah the Queefs seem to be playing the bird in the hand game here...but this OT class is fairly deep, and there was bound to be some good prospects still available at 31: Leatherwood, Radunz, Eichenberg, maybe Teven Jenkins - though it looks like he's on the rise and might be now taken in the twenties...

they will likely get a swing OT at 31 and solidify the position.

It was reallllllllllllly dumb of the Ravens to hand the best team in the AFC a cheap stop-gap (3.3m) to anchor the very weakness that was exposed in the SB.

The odds of KC going back to the SB just rose.

Going for broke now. The window is closing on KC.

Mahomes money sucking contract is going cripple them in the near future.
Wasn't his contract considered team friendly when it was signed? Like yeah it's big but not crushing. Or so I had read.

So they double down by picking up a veteran who is going to want a big contract in the offseason as a LT and who has the potential to eat his way out of the starting lineup once he gets that guaranteed money? Doesn’t seem like a good plan with an OT-rich draft coming up next week.

Take a look: Patrick Mahomes

$36m next year, then into the mid-40's for the three years following, and then...well, I don't know how much they intend to mortgage their future, but holy crap. They should trde him next year - his dead cap will only be $92 million.

No kidding. And he is on his last year so they will be paying him a mega deal next year.
They must figure they have about 2-3 years to hit while Mahomes is still relatively healthy. His contract will kick in hard next year too.
