It was reallllllllllllly dumb of the Ravens to hand the best team in the AFC a cheap stop-gap (3.3m) to anchor the very weakness that was exposed in the SB.

The odds of KC going back to the SB just rose.

The Ravens made a deal that they thought benefited them. The Ravens aren't going to the SB this year. They are building towards the future. They helped KC for this year. If you think that Belichick wouldn't do the same, I think that you are wrong.

Why aren't the Ravens contending for a SB this year? They started like crap last year, got hammered by COVID, but still made the playoffs and won their first game. Why aren't they competing with the guy who won MVP two years ago?
