Oh man are you in for one hell of a let down soon!

Have you ever experienced the Pats w/o Brady n Bill?

Lmao, if you decide to stay a fan, I look forward to how ya handle it.
That's why you're the perfect Jete fan, your **** ownership has convinced you that it's impossible to find another GM and QB that can produce a good and perhaps even great football team. So, how much were those PSLs, JeteFan69?

It's more about being an NFL fan. It's a great league. One that wouldn't have become great if they let individual teams monopolize success decade after decade.

The Pats found a genie bottle at the right time. Got three great wishes: Tom, NFL rule shift to focus on QB, Bill (ordered by importance).

I'm not saying the Pats will be horrible soon. Just normal. Which involves bad seasons and even stretches of multiple seasons.

To someone younger who hasn't experienced losing and rooting for underdogs, that's gonna be a rough transition.

NFL rule shift to focus on QB,

The Pats did not "wish" for this. They had that rule change forced onto them via Bill Polian and the Competition Committee. After having Manning and his Colts WRs roughed up by Patriots secondary players, the rule change was almost instant.

Jetes just couldn't take advantage of the changes. Can't expect retreads like Chad Pennington and Quincy Carter to blow the roof off.

You got that right!

LOL, you say that after Roger and the NJFL did its damndest to "not let individual teams monopolize success" (ya know, $1M penalty, loss of first round pick, and a 4 game suspension to the best player in their sport over an equipment violation) and FAILED? You did see Roger hand over the trophy to Bob Kraft as the crowd booed at Roger, no? Or did they not broadcast that part of the Super Bowl in the NY metro area? Ha ha ha ha @ boo foo Jete fans and the NJFL crowd on Park Avenue in NYC!

Again, you project your Jete experience on others as if it's a given. Do you do this in the rest of your life too? Do you tell your friends that because you've had a ****ty experience for the last forty or so years that they're going to have a ****ty streak going forward? Or do you have no friends because you've been doing this for such a long time already that you have nothing better to do with your Jete fan life but visit Pats fan sites?

They can't wait until the Pats are just like THEIR Jetes, but they are so ****in' stupid, ignorant and blind they fail to understand that even if the Pats do NOT win for the next 48 years, that will STILL far outweigh and illustrate THEIR own NINETY SIX YEARS of suckage...and we'll always have all those Super bowls and appearances to keep us happy. Stupid breed of moron that Jete fan is.

Haha, ouch... seemed to have touched a nerve. My bad man, I'm sure you're right. NE's history pre-Brady (and when he went down that one season) doesn't mean anything.

When the Pats played the Steelers in say the 80s and 90s, did you give two "poops" (see how that's done @StockingAnarchyNumber12) about Pitt's history?

No one will care about the Brady/Billy era after it ends other than Pat fans. Maybe in terms of historical context it'll mean something over some beers, but usually it takes multi-generational (read beyond just one player's playing span) to be considered one of the best organizations (Pitt, Dallas, SF).

It'll be an accomplishment worth mentioning for sure. Catching lightning in a bottle during a perfect time for a weaker QB (like Tommy) to win so much as the rules benefitted him. He and Bill took advantage of the situation better than anyone else on the planet. They deserve a ton of credit for it, and if/when I remove my green glasses, it's fun to watch at times.

But once it's over... it's over. No one outside of NE will care. It'll be about what they field that year in question.

while YOU and your sad sack excuse for a football team will STILL be the object of derision ,scorn and ultimately, UNBRIDLED LAUGHTER by the REST OF THE FOOTBALL WORLD. The fact that YOU think this will ever change is what MAKES YOU A JETE FAN. You have never "gotten it", you don't "get it" and you will NEVER "get it".

@Bill Lee - They dont broadcast superbowls over there anymore. I heard they did once, but it was just a rumor. I think it was Superbowl 5.. 4.. Maybe 2? Nah. Jets dont make superbowls. They buttfumble.

You think he would get it after our stud free agent middle linebacker visits their team and turns down their big cash offer (even after they made cupcakes for him!) and their stud free agent middle linebacker visits our team and accepts our low cash offer -- the Jete Suck! Both players are thrilled that they aren't members of that hot mess team known as the New York Jete!

Jets can't even win the off season anymore.
Yeah, but think how many NFL veteran player's lives the Jete made better:
  • Harris has a huge commitment to the game: Guess what, he's now on a team that shares his commitment to the game!
  • Decker signs in Nashville: Guess what, his wife is a country singer and he already has a home there!
  • Hightower needs a great example of a ****ty team so he can smarten up and sign with a great team: Done!
  • Fitzy needed one more big score to fund his retirement: Guess what, mission accomplished!
  • Mevis's body is breaking down: Guess what, he's getting paid $6M while he rests his aching bones!

It's funny how you can say no one will care all nonchalantly like you know that for a fact. Well even if no one will care, what I KNOW FOR SURE....the Patriots SBs will be on these:

And your Super Bowl will always be featured on this:

Yep, in your world the Krafts have learned nothing over the last 20 years and things certainly will revert back to the pre-Brady days, just because you say so.

Jets fans are still under the delusion that the Patriots will somehow revert to the laughable franchise they used to be.

Newsflash 79, and all you lurkers... IT AINT EVER GOING TO BE THE SAME AGAIN.

The Patriots have become one of the best franchises in sports. They may not always win like they have been, but they will be looked at that way for the rest of your miserable Jets loving lives.

This is a lame post and you know it. Not sure if you're being sarcastic or just out of it today.

1. The Patriots are one of the best organizations in NFL history. That's not even debatable. You could debate the ranking but not if they belong on the list. "Multi-generational". Give me a F'ing break.

2. "Weak QB" ? That's a first. Usually it's "system QB". What's next? Deflategate or Spygate? Sure, go ahead. Use whatever you need to explain why TB isn't really great and why the Jetes have sucked over the years. It's because of a f'ing rule change. hahahahha

3. "Maybe in terms of historical context"? Maybe? hahahaha You'll see Patriots flashbacks during every Super Bowl, you'll hear up and coming QB's compared to Tom F'ing Brady (the Greatest QB of all time) every time there's an improbable comeback, you'll hear up and coming HC's compared to Belichick (the Greatest HC of all time) every time a team overachieves what "experts" thought the team should have and you will hear about the Patriots every time someone discusses the best of all time.

The Jetes? Yeah they'll get discussed too. Joe Namath's guarantee and the Butt Fumble. Congratulations.
