He's trash when he's healthy, never mind when he's hurt. Unfortunately Bortles is also trash and can't take advantage of it.

It's easy, and only takes a few moments. While he hasn’t played well, he’s probably at least a couple of steps up on the rookie who’d have been taking his place. As you said, it probably won’t matter anyway, although I was hoping that he may have been limited next week, as well. He's trash when he's healthy, never mind when he's hurt. A win is a win.
Since 2001, I'm 221-66 when predicting NE games (regular + postseason) in which Brady is the starter.
That's pretty f&cking good.
Google the ending to the Jacksonville - Arizona game, which tells you something about Jacksonville's coaching.I am probably going to get dislikes again, bt I think it is in our best interests to have Pittsburgh win. Jacksonville has a legit defense, a good running back, and a average qb and passing game. But they seem as well coached as they can be... meaning they are getting the most of what they can get. This reminds me the GD Ravens teams that gave us fits. Conversely Pittsburgh has shown us flashy offense, terrible defense, and a coaching staff that is clueless.
I would rather roll my die against the clueless coaching staff.
here's hoping a Jags D lineman rips Rapistburger's pr!ck off and shoves it down his ****in' throat....goddamned rapist sonovabiatch should have been offed a decade ago.
According to the PIT media, JAX RB Fournette has averaged just 3.12 ypc over his last 5 regular season games and 2.71 ypc during last week’s WC game vs BUF.
It appears as though he’s hit the rookie wall, with a report that he’s told several people close to him that he’s tired. Not sure if it’s true or not, but he definitely isn’t the same player that he was earlier in the year.
Just can’t see how Jacksonville has any realistic shot at scoring enough points, here.
Agreed. They are terrible at that part of the game. Undisciplined and ill prepared.Jacksonville may win at Pittsburgh because the squealers are playing the pats in their minds evidently.
They are so bad at that part of the game
Right, but I think it’s been slowly tapering off the past 6 games or so and one would assume that PIT is simply going to stack the box and force Bortles to try and throw the ball in the cold. His ypc all season hasn’t been that good

This game has all the makings of an upset. Stout defense and ground game going in relatively healthy going against a home team that hasn't played meaningful football in a couple of weeks while being distracted by both an opponent that they're not playing this week on top of the contract situation of its star RB. I think that, offensively, if the Jags can even get to 20 points, they're coming to Foxboro for the AFCCG.
Of course, the wild card is Bortles. I thought he choked last week in the biggest game of his career. Hackett gave him a lot of easy routes early on and his receivers WERE open all over the field, but he missed a couple of throws early on and was clearly rattled after that. He has been rattled ever since Clowney called him "trash". I think in this game, the Jags need to stick to the ground game on first and second down and keep him in third and short for some easy throws and conversions. The Steelers will load the box early on in the game so I think you'll see a play or two in the first quarter where Westbrook/Cole/Lee hits their man with a double move and Bortles uncorks on deep to try and get that safety out of the box.
