If Elway is smarter than I think he is....

He will sign Blount. That team desperately needs a back and Blount can be had for cheap. This is a team that could be a nightmare matchup for the Pats if they solve the QB and RB issues. Same for Houston if they get a QB. Imagine a focused Blount intent on ripping the Pats in a playoff game. You know he's mad right now. He has to be. After 1200 yards and 18 TDs they won't sign him (even though he probably offered to take a hometown discount) but they go out and give 6 million to two JAGS. I guarantee you he feels disrespected and wants revenge on the Pats. It would be compelling football.
Must be depressing to perceive someone with vast intellectual superiority over one's self as stupid.

People who choose to give Tony Eason a hard time about Super Bowl XX can if they want to, I mean it's a free country.

I myself, choose to evaluate John Elway's legacy by January 28, 1990.

Aren't the Giants eyeing him?

Blount makes sense for them. They can duo him off with Perkins, with Vereen at 3rd down RB.

Aside from tearing up the Colts, has Blount's playoff record been all that impressive?
No. I thank Blount for what he did for the Pats, but I am not sorry to see him go. He can't get yards in the 1st half, unless you only need him to get one yard. In the 2nd half of games sometimes he can break off a long one, if the other side is tired. Otherwise, clog the middle and he won't go far.

I always liked Blount and Antowain Smith. I like having a big guy to beat up the defense. I never bought into all the criticism of Blount. Only thing I didn't like was a couple fumbles...but the defenses he was playing against were pretty damn good.

With what evidence do you guarantee another person's state of mind; and in this case, an individual who has never met you nor given you any direct indication about how he feels about anything.

I dont think it will be a big deal at all

Huh? A lot of teams could be a "nightmare matchup" for a lot of teams, if they could just "solve the QB issue."
