I honestly do not compare the Patriots to other franchises, I look at what they do, and the success they are having.

And you proposed another "approach" which you said would be more successful. Which apparently consisted of signing a lot of free agents who never get injured (like Carter) or retire (like Waters) or are so successful for the Pats that they get overpaid elsewhere the next year (like Anderson).

Also they should be relatively young guys in the primes of their careers, like Adalius Thomas or Daniel Fells or Danny Amendola. But unlike those players, they shouldn't end up sucking.

I guess I don't get the "different approach" you're advocating. It sounds like you're just advocating that everything work out right. Which I'm in favor of.
