Declining Brady in the playoffs?

The guy is a bitter racist bigot; don't watch him, don't listen to him, don't start threads about him, and most importantly don't list any links for which he may benefit from the click.
Settle down. Have some dip. This is just sports.

Parker lays the blame for the Pats losses squarely on Brady's back.
I think the whole world lays too much blame and credit on the QB. As good as Brady is he is not immune to the Elway Effect. You show up with the complete team or you're likely to lose. Doesn't matter how good the QB is.

he has been pretty ****ty lately compared to the first 10 wins

This Will Tom Brady Reach Another Super Bowl? - ESPN Video - ESPN is a pretty entertaining argument between Rob Parker, Skip Bayless and Eric Mangini as the latter two fend off a very aggressive Parker who claims Tom's playoff numbers prove that Tom is done making rings.

This is unquestionably a spirited argument with the heat boiling, but there is a disingenuous attempt by Parker (caught in the act) to pad his numbers. It just goes to show you what a desperate mind will do to win an argument based on likes and dislikes.
Skip Bayless, Rob Parker......

Rob Parker had a piece of lettuce in his teeth and I swear it hit me in the face while I watched this on the Internet as he screamed to the world that Brady sucks and is DONE.

Holy crap that is some serious hate, even Skip and Mangini had to hold him back a bit on his rant.

My favorite part was when he pulled up his piece of paper and was like, "look at the stats! Brady sucks! Won't any of you please agree with me that Brady is a garbage QB??? Please?? I ******* hate this guy! Come on!"

Brady's only had 2 or 3 really bad postseason efforts IMO. 2007 AFCC vs. SD, 2009 vs Ravens, 2010 vs. Jets. Maybe the '05 game in Denver too, was off on alot of throws but just one critical error all game.

The Ravens game this year, yeah he made a couple really bad mistakes, but he did drive the team on several drives and put up 23 points against a very good D. Ditto for the SB, a couple horrible errors but overall I thought he did a decent job. It wasn't like the 2004 postseason he had, but I'd gladly take the Brady of this postseason with a [hopefully] more complete team around him in the next postseason.

No love for Sterling Moore either, according to this moron the Ravens reciever dropped the winning TD, he sure does'nt let facts get in the way of an argument.

He needs to do that to make sure zero credit is give to the Patriots had anything do with winning the game.

ridicules, Brady is fine, the supporting cast needs work. It seems so silly that people zero in on the 1 positive and not notice the other negatives.
No one scored 32 pts on the 49ers defense, but somehow is the Saints offense fault, silly. and same misguided thinking, I think.

Not this crap again....

From 1984-1987, Joe Montana put up QB ratings of:

82.1
60.0
127.2
65.6
34.2
42.0

In Brady's last 6 games (goes back to the 2007 SB), he's put up:

82.5
49.1
89.0
137.6
57.5
91.1

Someone can feel free to tell Parker that I said he's an idiot.

It's effing ESPN. Wasted thread and wasted discussion. It's effing ESPN.

Yeah sure... Brady was 20 for 24 before he got hurt last year,

and 4 years earlier, the coaches fell asleep and did not change the OL calls, which the Giants decoded, which is why the DL was so nasty, and then the coaches in game didn't go to a shorter 3 step drop offense until late - when the Pats got their 1 (easy) TD.

Can't find much to critique there about Brady.

Rob Parker is the biggest moron to ever appear on my TV screen. I knew I would hate him the first time I saw him on ESPN.

On the other hand, for the first time ever I agree with Skip Bayless.

Maybe next time they should talk about how Parker is declining. Except instead of going from GOAT to elite like some think Brady has, he's going from terrible to WOAT.

Contrary to what Parker thinks, since ******* Brady's numbers are actually better in the playoffs.

2001-2006 16 games, 20 tds, 9 ints, 86.2 rating
2007-2011 8 games,18 tds, 11 ints, 90.1 rating

Mod edit.

Verrrrrrrry misleading. Don't forget how the Patriots ran up the score and padded Tom's stats against the Broncos in the playoffs last season. Brady had SIX touchdowns and a ridiculous passer rating against that non-playoff worthy Broncos team.
Take that exhibition game away and Brady's playoff numbers from '07 to '11 are pretty mediocre.

Patriots will win it all when they get back to what won them 3 SB's. A really good defense and an offense that can play ball/clock control at critical times.

I hate ESPN. I honestly do.

Parker is as annoying as they come. This is a guy who thinks Michael Vik is incredible but Tom Brady is a bum lol.

And to be perfectly honest, Skip Bayless can go to hell to. He might be defending Tom now because he's looked at our team this season and knows we're going to be incredibly dangerous as a Superbowl threat but after last years loss to the Giants he was throwing Brady under the bus too.

All of New York media and ESPN can DIAF. We don't need them. We never have.
In the words of Rodney Harrison, "They didn't believe we could do it. They didn't believe. But we believed."

I'm not even going to bother watching it. Parker, Bayles and ESPN combine as one of the biggest embarrassments in sports coverage all-round.

Great news!

Rob Parker is just a weasel sports journalist and in the grand scheme of things has no say on who will be remembered as the greatest quarterback of all time!

Well that certainly is a relief!

Wait, you're telling me that Brady's numbers decline a little in the playoffs when he's facing much stiffer defenses as compared to the regular season? I'm shocked!

Parker's a moron.
