It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Im as big a Brady fan as it gets but I would be seriously pissed off if he watched them trade Garrapolo and then retired. I wouldn’t have had any problem if he had retired after # 5 but you don’t allow your franchise to trade the heir to the job and then walk away. However, short of a career ending injury in this Super Bowl that’s not happening, and what will happen instead is that Brady will lead them to # 6 and then Vegas will install the Patriots as the favorites to win next years Super Bowl, breaking the hearts of the Garrapolo trolls, like Quantum, who hate Brady and the Patriots because Belichick traded their binky away.
Both of the above seem to apply here
- Given the chance, women ruin everything
- Men marry women thinking they won't change. Women marry men thinking they will change. They're both wrong.
Agree completely with your being POed sentiment. I for one would be Wicked Pissed at TFB for that.
Going off the rails with the Q loves JAG stuff though.
It IS greed on your part. She's doing this out of concern that he'll actually get to grow old with her and enjoy their children growing up. You just want more super bowls. Eight aren't enough for you.I wish she wouldn’t do this. I understand it that she wants him to roll on out before it ends badly but man this is different. He should be allowed to and supported on playing to 45. Perhaps it’s greed on my part but to be honest when this guy plays, he is in his element and where he wants to be. He’s not doing this for money solely, he gets paid yes and that’s part but he’s probably play anyways. What we are seeing is something that will not happen again, leave Tom alone and just let him do this. Who trains like that if they aren’t a true lover of the game and competition? He will retire when the time cones
I could see how that could easily become a self-fullfilling prophecy, but it ain't necessarily so. It just takes a bit of love, listening and compromise.
.....or, on second thought, maybe the compromise should be listed first.
Actually, it would be kind of interesting to see what Bill could do with Smith.Alex smith is going to be available, he'd be a decent stopgap.
You think he will die if he plays football longer? It IS greed on your part. She's doing this out of concern that he'll actually get to grow old with her and enjoy their children growing up. You just want more super bowls. Eight aren't enough for you.
It's fine to with he keeps playing. It's not really cool to think that your wishes should have the slightest effect on his family.
He's no more of a 49er fan than I*
*Disclosure: I rooted for the 49ers when JAG played. Loved his beating the JAGs.
Why should he even think about compromising? Do you think she didn't know that he was Tom Brady, the uber-competitive G.O.A.T. QB who wanted to play for as long as possible, before she married him?
Tom have to give us Three more years now and that's it. I really wanted him to quit after this year and we move on with Jimmy G. But we let Jimmy go for very little, we couldn't script this season any better now he have to give us at least three more until the young guy is ready.
I'd be sad, but it would be super greedy to ask for anything more. He's made my football fan dreams come true over and over again for most of my adult life.honestly if he wins his sixth i wouldn't be mad at him for walking away.
Disagree completelyQuantum is one of the biggest Garrapolo fans in this forum, and he wanted the Patriots to keep him and move in from Brady. He’s been pissed off about it ever since they traded him and this thread was only started to troll Brady fans. That’s why he set the bait and disappeared.
You think CTE is something to joke about? Don't be disingenuous. You think he will die if he plays football longer?
