Im as big a Brady fan as it gets but I would be seriously pissed off if he watched them trade Garrapolo and then retired. I wouldn’t have had any problem if he had retired after # 5 but you don’t allow your franchise to trade the heir to the job and then walk away. However, short of a career ending injury in this Super Bowl that’s not happening, and what will happen instead is that Brady will lead them to # 6 and then Vegas will install the Patriots as the favorites to win next years Super Bowl, breaking the hearts of the Garrapolo trolls, like Quantum, who hate Brady and the Patriots because Belichick traded their binky away.

Quantum was a 5 star Garrapolite and now he’s clearly trolling this forum, I think that’s a complete a-hole move. He’s a 49er fan imo.

You don’t start a thread and not partake in it unless you are trolling, and that’s what he’s doing. And it’s succeeded in bringing in other trolls, like “ former fan.” We have to put up with enough sh!t from the haters and national media, having to put up with it from trolls basically makes it impossible to go anywhere to talk about this team. I wish she wouldn’t do this. I understand it that she wants him to roll on out before it ends badly but man this is different. He should be allowed to and supported on playing to 45. Perhaps it’s greed on my part but to be honest when this guy plays, he is in his element and where he wants to be. He’s not doing this for money solely, he gets paid yes and that’s part but he’s probably play anyways. What we are seeing is something that will not happen again, leave Tom alone and just let him do this. Who trains like that if they aren’t a true lover of the game and competition? He will retire when the time cones

I'd almost agree but after a few years and especially after children, spouses can change some of their outlooks.
I think (nobody knows, but this is an opinion forum) Tom plays at least the next 2 seasons. Beyond that even magic water might not keep his arm & body to the level that would satisfy him.

Tom have to give us Three more years now and that's it. I really wanted him to quit after this year and we move on with Jimmy G. But we let Jimmy go for very little, we couldn't script this season any better now he have to give us at least three more until the young guy is ready.

I can't speak for him, but if I had to guess, QM is probably more logical/analytical about the team's roster and less sentimental than some of us.

I am glad Jimmy is gone and want Brady to retire a Patriot more than I want to secure another decade of success. I don't think QM feels this same way. That doesn't make him a Jimmy fan or a 49er fan, it's a perfectly reasonable position to take.
