Nonsense...the studies on correlation between football and CTE are conclusive and compelling. The increased Tau protein doesn’t lie, nor do the post-mortem exams of cerebral tissue. While attempts are being made to make the game safer, it remains one of the most dangerous long-term activities in the world when one takes all-cause mortality into consideration. Not wanting to admit that an sport you enjoy watching, often causes real and permanent harm to it’s participants, doesn’t make it’s dangers less real...it just makes us feel less exploitative.
