Confirmation that Gisele tried to get Tom to retire

We've been in the "this is just gravy" years with Brady for a while now. I'll be OK with any decision he makes, unless it's to retire within the next 12 days.
Every year “it’s just gravy” then when they fall behind in a September game they are an embarrassment.

I doubt TB will either. That's private stuff between a husband and wife, to which only a handful of people are privy. Feely violated that trust. Just speaking for myself, I'd never trust him again if I were either one of them.
Unless brady doesn’t give a crap that feeley talks about it. He may not.

That doesn't justify an attempt to go back on what you've always understood. If you change, it's up to you to adjust your new thinking in a way that doesn't require your spouse to do that same, if he/she doesn't wish it.
Maybe when they got married Tom told her he only had a couple years left in the NFL... which would have been very realistic back then. For all we know, he's the one that has changed.

Also that thing you said about what men and women want from the other vis-a-vis changing is spot-on.

Wasn't justifying, was explaining how that often happens.
If spouses don't continually work to adjust and adapt, they likely divorce.
/back to football soap opera
If one spouse puts demands on another that they give up doing what they love and expects them to walk away just because the other would like it that’s going to ultimately end in divorce any way.

Anything is possible in the world of pillow talk, and I'm not saying that you're wrong, but that would require that he's been publicly lying about his plans for a long, long time. And it runs counter to his "deflategate" email. Remember this

Emails have also leaked, including private ones Brady, 38, sent to a friend, that included so-called jabs at Manning, 39. In the emails, Brady wrote that “I’ve got another 7 or 8 years. He has 2. That’s the final chapter. Game on.”

This is the problem with discussing this kind of crap.
No one has any idea how they have addressed him playing or retiring yet.
People seriously act like the little rumors are like breaking news.
They never talked about it before and all of a sudden Giselle told feeler she wants him to retire so that means she is putting her foot down and demanding he retire or they will get divorced, so now brady feels pressure to retire because his wife demanded it.

Jesus people, do you live in the real world?

Not going to lie. I would be super irritated if Brady retired after this season, #6 or not. We gave away the heir apparent with the assumption he would be around at least 2 more seasons. Baring some major injury I would like to see that come to fruition.

Look up Confirmation

Brady already confirmed it, he was asked about it on the WEEI morning show a couple of weeks ago and said they had that discussion all the time. You can obviously believe what you want but imo Quantum is trolling.

Playing football isn't, like, Tom's midlife crisis. He has been doing it all his life.

She knew he was a football player when they met.
She knew he was a football player when they got married.

she and probably he didn't know that CTE was causing severe mental issues which is a result of repeated head trauma.

It's a silly thought experiment, but before you posted I was actually pondering that scenario and, in the end, I would personally be ok if he was like 'naw, done with Superbowls, here you go Hoyer' but I'd be pretty mystified.

It's like if your girlfriend arranged like, 8 threeways with her hot girlfriends for you and then right before the 8th changed her mind. You're disappointed but eh...overall you came out way ahead.

Hehe, came.

I'm surprised Tom was ok with his wife being on vacation with a guy named Jay FEELY.

Actually I think she may have turned him on to some of the dietary stuff. Pretty sure models don’t crush cheeseburgers

In my experience, at least, my supermodel wife takes off the sesame seeds and the pickles, leaving the rest for me.

So what? Tom Coughlin should retire and enjoy what time he has left.

I think Norm from Cheers put it best.

"Women. Can't live with 'em, pass the beer nuts."

I'm surprised that nobody mentioned the fact that about a decade ago when they met & married the danger from concussions was not as well known. Suspected but not as well known as now. A spouse (and some NFL players) could well change their position given what they believe to be true now vs what they thought to be true in 2010 or so.

Way I see it. It's a fundamental core issue to TFB to play as long as he can play well. His wife clearly doesn't like it but she's not about to throw away the old fella for some some young 20 something Italian Stallion that we have just learned in this thread Quantum has a love that dare not speak it's name sexual fantasy about.

I am thankful for Tom Brady's contributions. I gather he will play two more years.

My supermodel wife doesnt eat the egg yolks and carves the fat off the bacon.

So I eat egg yolk and bacon fat omlets
