A couple observations:
Canberra has no major weaknesses.
With most of the other teams that we've played against, they've had at least one major weakess. Even the Bandits were starting levels 13 and under at FB and both OLBs. Canberra really doesn't have a glaring weakness. Every starter is at least a 14, and most are higher. That said, we do have notable advantages in a lot of areas, and if we can leverage our advantavges well, I think we'll win.
Their WR are good, but our CBs are better.
Vernon, Pietro, and Cason have shut down better WRs than their pair of 15s. Also, they're going with a level 14 QB, and Tobias has the attributes to basically be another CB on the field in terms of range, who just happens to put three or four guys per game in the hospital as well.
Their defensive line may be a vulnerability
Don't get me wrong, two 14s and two 15s isn't a bad starting DL, but it's the closest thing that they have to a real liability. Bodes well for Maroney having his standard dominating performance.
Their OL will be slightly overmatched
They have four 15s and a 16 on the DL. Once again, not bad. But our DL is starting all 16s. But the difference will hopefully be greater than that. Our DL has been playing above its level all season, putting up some very good performances against OLs that were the same or higher level than they were. With Pio up to 16 now, though, I see us having the potential to dominate the line of scrimimagfe defensively against a lot of our opponents.
Our QB/Receivers are better than their secondary
Long passes here and there might be really effective in this game. Their CBs are 14 and 15, and their safeties are 15 and 16. Steamer, Welker, and Walsh will hopefully be too much talent/depth for them to handle.
