For anyone who's written off runningback Sammy Morris, it appears he'll be back for another season here in New England.
His agent, Mark Slough, Tweeted a few minutes ago that Morris and the Patriots have agreed to a 1-year deal.
"Excited to say that #Patriots RB Sammy Morris will be back with the Club. We have agreed to terms on a one year deal this afternoon," said Slough.
He also told Mike Reiss that, "Sammy has such respect for Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft and that organization, he's excited to be back."
The 34-year old Morris spent most of last season as a reserve behind BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Danny Woodhead, carrying the ball 20 times for 56 yards.
