Oh before I forget I had us set for 0% short passes and all med-long passes. We stayed at 0% blitz. I set the run for 55/45% wise, but I think what screwed them at the end is that we set it for auto tactics change which a lot of owners are eschewing.

So they sold out against the run which would have put a hurting on us since we went into the game a little run heavy but the auto adjust kicked in and we started passing like crazy.

this last game i noticed my CB cason do a LOT of wierd things...primarily with tacticts....

is that why? gameplan option?

Definitely, though weather is 16 now. At this point, our lowest levels are 13, and that's just Slay and Manchild.

Also, anyone have high stamina and speed, who will be starting the upcoming game with 100 energy? We need to get some gunners in on ST to win the field position battle. I had to pull Maximoff for one game, so that he can be up to full energy for the playoffs, but I don't want to leave a void on ST that could cost us the game.

Along the same lines, how are Cason and Cav Trooper doing for stamina? Do you need to be pulled from ST to have enough energy to start fresh for the playoffs?

first, Cason is doing fine with XP right now....he has crazy stamina...

second, i thanks for giving my cb a couple more plays, he should be able to do some good things

I will. I'm at 67 right now but I'm training 18/15 so I'll be at 100. I don't mind being off STs if Pietro is on it, but if he's not I probably should be.

I just boosted my STA back up when I leveled, anyways.

question...when that happens, do we get 18+15=33 energy in one day?
or just 18?

speaking of welker he can do some speacial teams this game... I will have him at 100%, his stamina rating is around 30. But we also have great depth at WR, so I'm not worried of a production drop or anything

just FYI, ST and defense take way more stamina than offense. With 30 stamina, I think it would probably be better to reserve that for your offensive production, which we'll need a lot of anyways. Pietro has 42 STA, and he still can only play 4 or 5 games at ST before he has to sub out for a game or two. I would just put him on +18, but the training experience is going to be the difference between him hitting 18 before the second game of the playoffs or not, and I figure it's more valuable to have a level 18 cornerback for an extra playoff game than to have Pietro on ST tomorrow.

You can train 'nothing' and get 18 points of energy back in 1 day. I was implying I would train nothing and get 18 one day, then train on relaxed and get 15 back.

The only tactics I can set for the defense is how much to gameplan for the run, for the pass, and variations on those themes.

I don't know what you mean by weird tactics, though. As an example the thing with DEs dropping back into coverage alot is basically out of my hands because even with 100% blitz it doesn't matter if the play calls for someone to drop back into coverage.

Cav is doing OK for stamina. if you need him on ST, keep him there - I'm getting 18 back a day, and will be at 97 for the game tomorrow. I may need one game off early in the playoffs to keep the STA up though.

No problem, but if it comes to that it's definitely better that we leave you off tomorrow. If that turns out to be the difference that swings the game, it's better to lose tomorrow than in the playoffs. With Tobias, Cason, and Kazenzakis, the ST unit should be fine.

weather is on ST 24/7 as well, so i think ST is just fine

and about the tacticts...i have cason play close to his man, but in some instances in the last game, he didnt, and he also did some wierd swithcing up with wr's i have never seen before either....

maybe just a quirk

Yeah, I've observed that as well. I have Maximoff playing extremely aggressive defense- tight coverage, but he doesn't gamble for interceptions. Just shuts his guy down and that's that. Still, at inexplicable times I see him randomly giving guys huge cushions.

I was actually just looking at doing an announcement about bonuses for the playoffs, too. We'll be giving all teams that make the playoffs a bonus for each round they make it through. If you make it to the championship game, you'll earn $1M in bonuses.

Personally I'd raise the price of everything to ridiculous levels and lower the price of beer to like $1. By the 4th quarter people will be so trashed they'll pay anything for a hot dog. That is, of course, assuming they don't just start beating up the vendors and vandalizing our shiny new stadium...

One of the things I've learned about the sim and finances is that the larger the margin of victory, the more you make in concession sales.

My team made the most money in concession sales when it won 89 to 0. (267K). We made the least (184K) when we lost.

Yeah this is good to know. I should have screwed around with concessions more in the first season but I was too timid.
