Wow, absolute destruction on the ground. 72 rushes for 359.5 yards with Maroney rushing 69 times for 312.5 yards.

Wow, just an amazing performance.

Looks like somebody'll be buying some new cars for his O-line!

Also, in a agame like this, we actually wound up taking away snaps from the starters Walter the backup TE gets 62 plays while Smug, the starter gets only 41.

I'm not counting snaps, I don't really care, there are plenty to go around, but I wonder what the best way to divy them up more evenly is. Up by 17 points?

Yeah, none of my guys topped 50. It's not a big deal, but if our starters don't consistently get enough snaps to maximize in-game experience, we'll start getting outleveled by other teams in the starting lineup, which wouldn't end well. I think maybe it should be more than 14 points, since we're up by 14 points in pretty much every game we play. Tank didn't even have a stat line for this game.

Ah, so starters got taken out because we were up? Pio only had 13 plays, and we gave 40 plays to the backup DT Goldsmith (a CPU player). Its not a level thing either, Pio is at level 12, Goldsmith is level 8. Pio needs those XP! Also when Goldsmith came in he was at NT and Tank was at DT, like I said before someone has to set it up so that Tank is our NT whenever he is in.

Heck of a win though, that's an amazing game by Maroney, is there any injury risk or anything in him getting 60 carries? Also how many did the backups get, someone wanted their guy to get some more reps, right?

What happened to the 3rd string TE? We're only playing with 2 now. Does that mean we have an extra roster spot?

I created a RB named Kevin Eckel who I've already leveled up to Level 4. Hit me with a contract offer.

While I can appreciate that Maroney had an amazing performance... he also did this on 59 carries! Now he hasn't allowed his teammates to see his stats, but he has got to be exhausted after carrying the ball 59 times in one game.

I think the Run/Pass percentage seemed well out of whack this game. 72 running plays and only 9 passing plays?

i believe we need to change the point amount at which starters get taken out...

make it 21 not 14

i love teh backups getting xp ( i have a backup cb)

but the starters need to constistently get better, otherwise we wont do good later on

props to my SS turned FS, he got 4 tackles, 1 pass defensed, and also had an int

my backup cb also had 4 tackles, and 2 passes defensed, not bad

Gost - As far as players we could definitely use a #2 RB since our current backup RB was way too low on energy last time I checked. WR will probably get less play time than a RB.

Energy management shouldn't be as big of a problem with a more balanced offense. Might want to ask if that backup RB is training on intense. Players with low to average stamina should be training on relaxed during the season.

yeah the pass run ratio was definitely changed... Would like to see that again with the pass this time! Seeing only nine pass plays total to his 68 carries, nevermind the rest of the runningbacks is quite demoralizing...

Where is the kool-aid? There it is... A win is a WIN! On to the next game?

Definitely not a fan of the sub out at 14. Doesn't get our starters nearly enough plays, and it's not a big enough margin to ensure victory. I liked it better with no sub out at all. At least on defense a starter who doesn't play on special teams was often getting under the max number of plays BEFORE this change. I think making sure all starters get 50 plays should be a priority if we want to remain competitive.

Guys - I set the Pass/run ratio to something different than it had been for weeks. It had been 65% Pass/35% Run, so I switched it up to keep the other team on their toes.

I have no idea why my guy got so many carries but I really don't regret making that change because we've gotta make changes now and then or we'll be easy to gameplan for.

Also the sub-out at 14 points thing still makes sense to me because if the other team scores our starters all start coming back which is the best way to distribute plays to people who are just signing up now.

Why do I have to keep defending the decisions I'm making after a win?

I'm fairly happy - I got less snaps (by about 20), but my production was better, so we may be onto something. Of course, the backup LB got the most TAK on the D, and a bunch of snaps, so he got some good XP.

A little tweak (17 or 20 points) may be needed, but maybe not. Either way, I'm getting snaps, making plays, and having fun. And, we're winning

Alternately, can you set this by half? Say, the starters get the whole first half, then do the 14 point lead deal in the second half only? Just food for thought...

hmm...this game seems interesting. I made an account with your referral a while ago, but i never got around to posting on here.

Basically, my friend promised me he would be buying a team soon, but he always seems to say 'next week'. So now i'm seeking another team.

I'm a level 3 QB by the name of Bo Flacco. I'm trying to become a dual threat QB, and i'm looking for a backup role (for now). Not that bothered about pay, as long as i'm not getting ripped off.

Here's my profile: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=162545

Apologies if you're not hiring now.

Because its way more fun to criticize someone else's management than to do it yourself!!!

Seriously though if you want to keep the 14 point thing that's cool, one minor change though, can you list Pio Sagapolutele as the backup NT instead of the computer player (Goldsmith), that way Pio works his way into the rotation some more, so he gets more plays. Tank is listed as #1 NT and #2 DT, Pio could just be the opposite. Thanks!

IMO we will get spanked by any good team if we are subbing out our starters with only a 14 point lead. Even though it puts our starters back in when the lead drops below 14 points, that is no guarantee that the other team won't score another 7-10 points and end up beating us. Basically 14 points is well within comeback range, and I think it's risky to have it set that low. Plus there is the issue of our starters needing 50 plays to get max experience. If they are getting less than that we will slowly be losing ground against our competition.

I understand where you are coming from about not wanting to have to defend your decisions constantly, and I think for the most part you make very good decisions as our owner, but I really think this current sub out method will come back to bite us. Imagine if the Pats were playing [insert good team here] and pulled the starters after gaining a 14 point lead.

I made those changes- Tank is not longer a backup DT, and Brice is no longer a backup NT.

As for fnord's changes- it's your team, and we're winning. It's all good. I did have a minor suggestion for making sure our starters were getting enough snaps, but I'm definitely not questioning what you're doing, at all.
