All for it. Personally, I'm of the mindset that anyone who wants more steps should just flex up and get to a level where you can be the undisputed starter. If you're not willing to do that, then you're implicitly giving the okay to share plays. Frankly, even if you do flex up, you should still be fine with it.

Bear in mind that players who did not flex up in level 1 will always be a few levels short of the players who did, even if they flex up every other season.

That said, it's not about starting, guys can split time and still get a lot of snaps, no problem. And getting 75 snaps hans't really impacted my XP noticeably compared to 50 or so. I do wonder how it might affect chemistry, though. Our offensive chemistry is pretty high right now.

You would think that as the average level goes up, the lower levels will start to get closer to the higher levels because of the XP slowdown.

At this point I don't care how many plays I am getting as long as we win the game. That's what it's about to me. Besides, XP sucks at level 16.

I'll take your plays I need to get myself in double digits like the rest of the team. I think I know what Ray Ventrone feels like.

I just realized this thread existed and it sounds like an interesting game. The game site is down for maintenance right now though.

What is with the last 3 pages? Is DaBruinz being an e-cancer in the locker room?

Our next opponent the Tasmanian Devils are 1-8. They lost their last game 50-0, their beating delivered by the Emerald City Flying Monkeys. Needless to say, I will be very disappointed if we don't crush these guys, and utterly amazed if we manage to lose to them.

Well, we are experimenting with our defensive tactics for this game. So if we lose, we'll probably blame it on our 100% blitz defense. Although I still think we will win.

Woohoo, Steamer's first hat trick TD game. Great win guys!

Hahaha, 100% blitz or not, we still won. Kazenzakis forced a fumble on the first play from scrimmage of the game. Tank had 3 TFLs, and it looks like Maroney and Steamer slaughtered them on offense. Haven't looked over the game log yet, but looks like a good win.

All ur line of scrimmagez r belong 2 tank:

Yup it's always nice when your NT can force some TFLs. That usually leads to a punt or a forced FG instead of a TD.

it's also nice when your WR can catch 3 TDs and your HB can run for two more. Lotsa things were nice about this game

The really weird thing, though--look at Tasmania's stat rankings. They're not good or anything, but not *bad* by a long shot. How the hell has that team gone 1-8. and been beaten by a large margin most of the time? Are they just butchering their training and tactics? I don't get it.

Wesley Welker had a pancake... Not bad for a WR

YES YES! Cav's first sack! Woooo!

I'm liking this 100% blitz

Great win! Lets keep rolling!

If Cav is anything like Kazenzakis, he'll start getting a lot more now that he's gotten his first. Kazen went a full season plus before getting his first, then got a few in a couple games.

The blitz defense worked well for me. I had 3 TFL one of which was an 8 yard sack

Another great win, fantastic season so far. Love seeing my tight end get a couple of pancakes AND make a contribution in the passing game - as a backup. Now that's Burning Pride football!

You know, I can't help but look ahead to the game with the Bandits. Right now we match up almost exactly evenly (we have a 3 point edge in kicking) and the game is at home. Of course, it doesn't mean anything until the post season, but I really want to beat the defending champs (several times ).

Guys, it is a good idea to ask the top player at your position for tips on your build. I've done so with other wide receivers and I've gotten some good/helpful responses. Definitely gives me something to think about.
BTW I asked a top tight end about his build and he kindly shared his info. I've already pmed our top two TEs on the depth chart the info that he shared with me. For the record the tight end's name is Nick Thompson.

Here is his production:

Check your GLB emails tight ends if you want to see how he did it.

The Bandits are an undefeated 8-0 team and previous conference champs. So there is plenty of reason for concern.
The one positive in our favor is that their team seems to have bad/below average chemistry. But who can argue with the wins?

Their offensive skill position players don't seem as talented/productive as our guys but they do have slight edge in level and possibly depth as well.
They have a dangerous kick returner in Poindexter who has already returned 4 kickoffs for TDs this season. So it's going to be important to get good speed/tackling on the wings for special teams coverage.
Their defense also doesn't seem to give up a lot of points per game, so this is unlikely to be a picnic game.
Alright gameplan guys, time for some magic!!

PS guys, don't forget to train on relaxed today to be at as high of energy as possible for this important upcoming game!

Thanks for the info.

His tight end is focused on receiving, so his speed, agility, catching and vision are all very high.

So far, I've focused on developing Benjamin Walter's skill set primarily as a blocker, so his strength, stamina, and blocking are all higher than Nick Thompson's. I also feel that this complements Smug Deed's skill set, which is more focused on receiving.

With that said, to cut down on dropped passes and to have a more balanced player, I've been focusing on the receiving side, and I think Walter's shown some improvement in that area the last few games. I've noticed that Walter gets open a lot, but that when he gets the ball he's a little slow to exploit soft zones and get more YAC, so I'll be focusing some on speed as well.

So in a way, I think it depends on how the team uses the tight ends, and how the game takes advantage of different skillsets in the tight ends. These are things I really don't know yet. If management wants me to focus on receiving, I'm happy to do it, and vice versa.

For the record, here are Walter's stats. I'm glad to hear any input.

Strength: 35.5 Blocking: 31.27 Speed: 20.69 Tackling: 12.28 Agility: 17.23 Throwing: 9 Jumping: 11.24 Catching: 34.84 Stamina: 37.51 Carrying: 11.86 Vision: 19.5 Kicking: 7 Confidence: 17.86 Punting: 10
