Guys, it is a good idea to ask the top player at your position for tips on your build. I've done so with other wide receivers and I've gotten some good/helpful responses. Definitely gives me something to think about.
BTW I asked a top tight end about his build and he kindly shared his info. I've already pmed our top two TEs on the depth chart the info that he shared with me. For the record the tight end's name is Nick Thompson.
Here is his production:
10g 74c 894.5y 89.5ypg 12.1ypc 5.1yac 12td
Check your GLB emails tight ends if you want to see how he did it.
The Bandits are an undefeated 8-0 team and previous conference champs. So there is plenty of reason for concern.
The one positive in our favor is that their team seems to have bad/below average chemistry. But who can argue with the wins?
Their offensive skill position players don't seem as talented/productive as our guys but they do have slight edge in level and possibly depth as well.
They have a dangerous kick returner in Poindexter who has already returned 4 kickoffs for TDs this season. So it's going to be important to get good speed/tackling on the wings for special teams coverage.
Their defense also doesn't seem to give up a lot of points per game, so this is unlikely to be a picnic game.
Alright gameplan guys, time for some magic!!
PS guys, don't forget to train on relaxed today to be at as high of energy as possible for this important upcoming game!
Thanks for the info.
His tight end is focused on receiving, so his speed, agility, catching and vision are all very high.
So far, I've focused on developing Benjamin Walter's skill set primarily as a blocker, so his strength, stamina, and blocking are all higher than Nick Thompson's. I also feel that this complements Smug Deed's skill set, which is more focused on receiving.
With that said, to cut down on dropped passes and to have a more balanced player, I've been focusing on the receiving side, and I think Walter's shown some improvement in that area the last few games. I've noticed that Walter gets open a lot, but that when he gets the ball he's a little slow to exploit soft zones and get more YAC, so I'll be focusing some on speed as well.
So in a way, I think it depends on how the team uses the tight ends, and how the game takes advantage of different skillsets in the tight ends. These are things I really don't know yet. If management wants me to focus on receiving, I'm happy to do it, and vice versa.
For the record, here are Walter's stats. I'm glad to hear any input.
Strength: 35.5 Blocking: 31.27 Speed: 20.69 Tackling: 12.28 Agility: 17.23 Throwing: 9 Jumping: 11.24 Catching: 34.84 Stamina: 37.51 Carrying: 11.86 Vision: 19.5 Kicking: 7 Confidence: 17.86 Punting: 10
