Nothing. He's doing what's right. I'm just frustrated with the process. I hate these weeks where there's vague BS and the media talks about it incessantly. I just want it to be Sunday already and get this over with.
It is what it is.
I mean you could avoid media and message boards if the way things are covered frustrate you that much. Showing up to the coverage, having it be just what you already knew it would be, then getting frustrated is kind of self inflicted.

Well the media is just giddy that it can milk the jimmy g story.

His response "Today's Friday" shows how truly amazing he is at stonewalling. It's part of his Gift. He could've easily said the same "getting ready for Jacksonville with all the players that are available... " type of answer - but no. "Today's Friday."

God love Bill. Did people really think he would answer a question like that?

Nope. But the only thing more ridiculous than a reporter asking Bill to comment on Brady's status would be a reporter not asking the one giant question hanging over this game.

Or to put it another way, hoping that Bill will comment on Brady's status is as realistic as reloading PatsFans.com multiple times in the day expecting to find news on Brady's status. Is anybody here not planning to do that?

"do you regret trading Jimmy Garrapalo"....that must be a junior high drama queen question...I can just picture this reporter, knows nothing about sports, just there to smirk and smile, while trying to create a story about Matt dunping her for her best friend in junior high while pumping twitter full of whitty abrasive one liners...#yougogirl

You’d think after nearly 20 years the media would realise that Bill isn’t going to actually respond to a question if it’s stupid..

Only way to get answers is to talk about LT or the history of the game..

A rule of thumb is that you never allow the media to get the upper hand, which is why BB continues to thumb his nose at them; on the other hand, BB's knowledge of the history of football is hands down, amongst the best, if not the best.

I know. I shut off 98.5. I thought Zo might have something that I could read between the lines and take something from it.

It's just the way it is for me on these championship weeks. Way more tense for me than the SB weeks. I've never learned to enjoy it.

And logically, I know they should be OK even if TB12 is 50%. Jax sucks against the run, and Lewis/White/Burkhead will have monster games. I just want to wake up and have it be Sunday already.

It’s ridiculous to assume that you can have a thread regarding a mid week injury to the GOAT that details have not even been disclosed (just wildly rumored about) and think there will be no discussion. It’s a discussion board. And this is one if the most legitimate issue of the season. Couple with complete uncertainty people want to comment. My point is don’t take one single report that hasn’t been backed up, call it fact and expand from there.

Lol.

It is ridiculous to assume one suggested no discussion about the injury to the greatest QB.

If this thread was created - by the owner of this site - to have only news/tweets about the injury, why can't we respect it?

Why assume Ian does not want us discussing it under the many other threads in this subject?

Chill Andy. All good.

Bledsoe played with a rod inserted in his finger, does anyone here really think that a jammed thumb (or whatever it is) is going to stop Brady from playing this Sunday?

Seriously, the guy hates to lose a game of checkers, and you think somehow he won't play in the AFC Championship game?

Brady will be out there, and he will be fine. Now carry on

it will be up to Belichick. Bledsoe had to skip the playoff game the very next week if I remember right.

Because he locked my vastly superior thread on this same topic?

Ugh! Sorry Deus, didn't know that.

That was I was on this thread thinking I could avoid speculation and focus on the actual news that others post.

My bad.

Andy - I stand corrected. Sorry!

No worries, man.

This thread should get more newsy/speculative after Brady's press conference.

The other thread did rock that is for sure...

I liked the other thread as well. These last two days have been a misery. I know talking about it or theories don’t help or even matter but it lessens my anxiety to talk about it. Kind of like when Cleveland fans have a session of psychological therapy

I would be more worried about this if a bunch of the players didn't basically use the questions about Brady's hand yesterday to launch into stand-up comedy about how distractingly handsome Tommy is.

Agreed. If you read all the players' comments, and how on point they were deflecting and pretty much mocking the media's incessant prying, you'd feel better about Brady at this point.

The media sometimes plays our fans like a drum as professional trolls.
