I may have some odd opinions here... Lowering the age?? In many states when I was growing up it was 18...here for a short bit..I do wonder about statistics from then to now?? Less or more?? Take a look at what is done in the Scandanavian countries, Sweden for example...alcohol (beer other less potent spirits) is able to be bought be those under the age of majority...18 in those countries...and yet, they have probably one of the strictest drunk driving laws in the world. In Sweden the driving with a blood alcohol level of .02 is illegal. Driving with a .10 level which would just be a bit over the level here is considered aggravated drunk driving with a reccomended sentence of two years. Here, theer are those who have killed with a DUI and they are back driving ONLY to do it again and again. That does not happen in Sweden. Real penalties and a real taking of personal responsibility does go a long way...but here with the culture, it would take a LONG time to achieve that.So we can go from having 16,000 deaths a year as a country becasue of DWI to having even higher. I am 100% against lowering the age. All set with seeing 20,000 deaths a year as a country. You know we have more DWI deaths a year than both gulf wars combined.
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like ESPN has been on our jock lately. The website hasn't reported this at all, they have a poll up asking if being a rock star or POTUS is better than being Tom Brady, and they reported Moss' comments (Our O will be better than 07/I'm the best WR) without any smug counter articles or screaming boobs on the TV (that I know of, anyway).
Have they called a truce on us since we allowed them to talk with Brady and film a little bit of our OTA's? Or is there maybe new management over there?
You have to be Borges or Ryan or Tomase. I was not aware BB had a son who played for the Pats. This crap aint news. This has no effect on the Pats whatsofrickin ever. Why dont you go post this on Perez Hilton, I think you two would get along smashingly. If all you expect is rah rah positive stuff all the time I suggest you go elsewhere - News is news if it relates to the Pats or its employees.
Don't like the thread? - Then leave and go read the Pats will go 16-0 threads
And if he was 17 how did this leak out?? OR does that even matter....I agree stupid...It was him and 52 others that were cited, he was not the only one.. And it could be worse, like Andy Reid's kids..
Here is my take on this story.
Apparently his 17 year old son Brian was attending the LaCrosse game and got caught drinking - Not as bad as Stephens drug charge in 2006 but nevertheless an embarrassment for the coach, especially in his teams stadium.
For a busy man like BB it has to be tough handling two boys who have done some stupid unlawful things in the past few years.

Actually, I consider myself a responsible juvinile delequint.
When I was 18 drinking age in Mass was 21, but 18 in Vermount. I lived in Springfield Mass. We use to drive to VT, buy the booze, drive home with it in the trunk, get drunk in the woods and then walk home.
Illegal on several counts there, hence juvinele deliquent.
But no drinking and driving (unlike others who would drive to VT get drunk there and then drive home or drink on the drive home) hence responsible.
Sometime back in the late 60s, (I'm not into telling how old we were), we used to steal beer out of a liquor store while it was open. It took 3 guys. One would sit out front next to a big ice cooler. He'd make a pre-arranged signal when the clerk was busy with a couple of customers. Then another guy would sneak down a wooden ramp on the side of the building, open the stock room door and take a six pack of Schlitz kingers in cans. He would then hand it down off the ramp to the third guy in the parking lot. The Schlitz was right next to the door. Sometimes we'd get brave and step in to get a 6 of Colt 45. We'd run off into the woods to guzzle the warm beer and belch like alligators. The Schlitz tasted awful and it was warm. The Colt wasn't any better.
Even worse was when we discovered the "Big Kid's" hiding place for their beer. Once before one of their weekend parties we looked and found it full of beer and ICE! We had never had cold beer. We took a six. Word got out that they were going to kill whoever took it. We never got caught. :eat2:
Well, they'll be coming for you now.
