Weather forecast for warm now. Arctic Blast disappeared. Mid-30s. Maybe 40.
Where are you seeing that? I'm seeing start at mid-20s end at low 20s but will feel like 15 to 12 degrees.

To be honest, having to play back-to-back playoff games starting at 1 p.m. was a much bigger factor than the injuries.

An article by John Breech of CBS Sports three years ago discussed this after the Seahawks found themselves in an identical situation in 2016 to the Chargers this year and had the same thing happen to them then (losing the 2nd back to back 1 p.m. ET game after winning the first).

In the article, Breech pointed out that from 2002-2016, Pacific and Mountain time zone teams have been outscored 202-56 in the first half of all 1 p.m. ET playoff games. The Seahawks in particular were outscored 75-0 in four 1 p.m. ET playoff games from 2010-2016.

Am I saying that the Chargers would have beaten the Patriots had they not been forced to play back-to-back playoff games at 1 p.m.? Not at all, there were other factors involved. I do believe that the first half would have been more competitive.
Thoughtful post. Stick around.

All due respect I don't buy it. Good, talented teams that are mentally tough and prepare win anywhere, anytime, anyplace. Those that aren't, don't

Hoping we get the ball back at halftime.
Hoping this is Dorsetts coming out party.
Hoping we take advantage of the backs in the passing game and Brady gets rid of the ball quick.
Hope Gowtokwski makes kicks when called upon.
Hope our defense plays man and gets after Mahommes but dont allow him to hurt us with his feet.
Hope that Hill is constantly harassed all over the field.
Hope defense gets off the field on third down.

What is your ritual/plan for tomorrow?

Mine?

Heart palpitations starting at noon and the sense I could throw up at any moment
I’ll start with coffee and then a bunch of pull-ups and then vodka and then the game. Will probably forget lunch. Most likely an argument with my SO in between vodka and the game.

I don't know what is going to happen tomorrow and I couldn't care less about the road record or defensive stats etc.. but if the team I watched torch the Chargers shows up tomorrow along with Tom F'ing Brady KC is going to be in trouble.

Tom looked great, Gronk mowed down a few DBs for the first time this season and the Ameoba defense was giving Rivers nightmares.

They look prime and ready to go.

We'll just call you Hope.

Don’t forget the argument. That also usually happens before lunch.

These?

Or these?

Juju Smith-Schuster has a youtube channel and he answered questions from fans. One of them was "What was the hardest defense youve faced?'" he said the patriots because they play alot of man to man and it makes it tough to get open. I wonder if that is going to work against the chiefs.

Holy sh!t, was I supposed to be doing pull-ups this whole time?

Don't take it the wrong way because I get your point but in the end the Chargers knew ahead of time that this would happen and could have had planned a contingency to stay on the east coast after the Ravens game.

We went straight for the West Coast in 2014 for the game in San Diego after the Packers game instead of flying back and forth. I get that in terms of logistics there is a difference because in the regular season you can arrange things ever further ahead. But if you as a team determine that travel is that much of an issue then maybe spending a couple 100k more (even if you do it for nothing and lose to the Ravens) doesn't seem too much of an investment to give you a shot to play in the AFCCG.
