Anyone who isn't nervous about this game is pretending. Anyone who doesn't think this is a 50/50 game where either the Pats or Chiefs will win is pretending. I've seen too many of these road games to feel ****y about it. I’ve seen this movie go bad before. if I was a betting man (which I am not) I probably wouldn't even lay down a penny for this game. The Chiefs have every right to believe they will win. The game is at Arrowhead, Mahomes for this year is the real deal, Hill is scary fast, Williams has equaled Michel's production in the past 3 games, and their defense has turned it up a notch.

I know what I've seen this year from the Pats. Inconsistency. Gronk may be blocking but has been out of this offense for the most part. Hogan has been an odd duck this year. Brady has been a tad off throwing behind receivers more than I have ever seen him do it. Simply put the Pats have to play 60 minutes equal to how they played the Chargers in the 1st half in order to win. It would be really lucky if the Chiefs somehow throw up a stinker at home.

I'm not nervous and I'm not pretending. I've watched the film their defense is an embarrassment. Yes we've lost our last 3 road playoff games...to Peyton ****ing Manning! Patrick has a few more days to play in the NFL before he is in that conversation despite what the QB thirsty Chiefs fans want to believe.

Mahomes throws two picks today. Brady is his normal robotic self and the Pats win 31-17.

Gen X QB vs Millenial QB.

I'm taking the GOAT.

I am staying busy today until 3 PM them I am zoning out don't bother me it's football time.

Go Pats

The weather in RI is disgusting. Snowed and then changed to pouring rain with thunder that will flash freeze later. Is this the apocalypse?

I wish the Pats were playing at home but TBH I am not upset about not standing in this **** for 4 hours.

Come on PJ, with freezing rain coming down a game today in Foxboro would be epic. I don't recall the field ever being covered since they installed turf, do you? Being in the stands would be something else. Still, I'd love a home championship game regardless of weather.

ERs would be overloaded w slip and falls from hammered Pats fans if the game was home today. I'm 10 min due North just off RT 1 and we got about 3/4 inches of snow. It's been raining since at least 6 am - I know this cuz I got up to take a leak and looked out the window. It's going to rain till 3 or 4 and may turn back to snow briefly and the temps will be sub freezing from 4 on...I don't think there's enough ice melt in Foxboro to keep the stadium, parking lots, ramps, etc from turning into a skating rink.
I haven't gone out to shovel yet but my neighbor did and he said don't even bother w your snowblower cuz they ain't working in this slop on the ground....

Sony will rush for 125 yards today.

The game would be epic. I’m sure the Pats would love to have a sloppy field, too. But standing in 310 would suuuuuuk. Nothing is worse than freezing rain IMO.

Hoping we get the ball back at halftime.
Hoping this is Dorsetts coming out party.
Hoping we take advantage of the backs in the passing game and Brady gets rid of the ball quick.
Hope Gowtokwski makes kicks when called upon.
Hope our defense plays man and gets after Mahommes but dont allow him to hurt us with his feet.
Hope that Hill is constantly harassed all over the field.
Hope defense gets off the field on third down.

Driving around this morning with the Pats flag on the car always is fun.

It's crazy to me that KC hasn't played in this round since 1993. Just reminds me we can't take any of this success for granted, even though we are so used to it.

Stats without context are meaningless but I found this interesting.

Chiefs D home/road splits.

Chiefs ave averaged 32ppg at home and allow 17.4 (vs team that on average score 21ppg- lotta ****ty offenses)

They allow 34.6ppg on the road but have faced MUCH better offenses away but have scored 38ppg on the road.

So you can say these sucky passing stats are b/c the Chiefs play from ahead and are falling into a soft shell they are allowing the yards, burn close or you could say they just plain 'ole suck.

For comparison, Pats allow 17.8ppg at home and 22ppg on the road. At home they score 34ppg and score 21 on the road.

back now from supermarket and the girl at the desk told me 'wow...Tom Brady again playing' ?

once (many years ago) she observed my NEW ENGLAND PATRIOT JERSEY and she told me that she follows only Brady and Gisele

:D

We just need to play smart, disciplined, aggressive football. When we do that we can beat anyone. #LFG

if we win what an awesome two weeks...le's happen...
