What I always found confusing is he threw for 300yds and they just got Doug Gabriel a week before and was decent that game. It wasn't like he had an awful game or Pioli was sitting on his hands.

I never thought Bill would sign AB the first time. AB never seemed like a Patriot type player...way to selfish. When he was signed it felt...strange. I had problems dealing with it to be honest...as if everything I thought about the Patriots way was a lie. Finally about a week later I started to come around and feel a little more comfortable with it...and then...he gets released. I'm on the fence now because of the apology...I just want to win.

In the end though the cut was Mr Kraft's call. Only he could authorize the Patriots to pick AB back up again.

Also AB's status to play again in the NFL is murky due to his legal issues. What will happen? Probably nothing.

I think we're making bad judgements by 'what could be' instead of 'what's more likely'.

Ask yourself this, what's more likely............

Brown comes back and is a model citizen, keeps to himself, and is a key contributor to the offense.

OR

Brown comes back, experiences some on field success, but then expresses frustration to the media or teammates when he feels he doesn't have enough balls thrown his way. I feel he'll be a constant distraction getting us all to ask ourselves 'why did we do this?'

The guy has NO FILTER. He'll be quick to tweet about anything and everything (some of whcih will put the team in a bad spots)

It’s at most 6 games and the playoffs and he has a very expensive settlement happening. I’d bet the former.

I would do the same, why should he care if she doesn’t have the financial resources to fight back? Why should he have any sympathy for her?

Think about it for a minute. He is suing for defamation and loss of income due to that defamation. Which means he has to prove he was defamed and suffered loss as a result, meaning every whack-azz thing he has ever done is now on the table to potentially be discussed in a public forum

As stated by @maust1013 she re-filed. What’s funny is she added a different location of where this incident took place and added a battery charge. She’s going to lose as her keeps changing her story.
