In all seriousness though, I do tend to agree @SammyBlueCat . I can’t see why he’d be on exempt list at this point. Nobody really has anything concrete on the guy.

So we have Meyers, Edelman, Harry and no TE that are actually a threat. Kinda getting to the point where we need to do something drastic (on top of paying a 2nd rounder for Sanu).... Sign the beast as a rental and find some pass-catchers next year.

My take on the many rumors:

Bill wants his talent and to score points on offense.

The rumor (as I understand it) is after AB threatened the artist and the media firestorm ensued, Early Bird recommended to BB they don't need this and because he was such a handful and because he might go on the exempt list they released him so they could get weasel out of paying him. BB agreed. Others say Early Bird pressured him but I believe BB told AB to cool it on the social media and he then goes and group texts. Bad move.

That's the irony and delusion Kraft has. The media and fans already tarnish any Championship the Pats win. It really didn't help this off season when Kraft got caught doing his thing.
