Good news out of Foxboro this afternoon as Mike Reiss of ESPN reported that Patriots receiver Wes Welker took part in New England's organized team activities this morning.
According to Reiss Welker was seen running routes at about 75 percent speed, but didn't participate in the full practice.
This is good news considering the fact he's still recovering from his ACL surgery that only took place back in February. He reportedly wore a brace over the knee and took part in drills early in the session.
Hopefully this means that he'll be well enough to potentially be ready for the 2010 campaign, although at this point it's still too early to tell. Nevertheless it's definitely good news.
