He's not Weak as hell. FFS. 25 on the Bench is not f'in weak. And you said UNDERSIZED. Undersized = SHORT and underweight.

Terrible analysis on your part. The Pick is fine.

The only thing I said was that he’s weak.

Fano moved after his freshman year and Lomu didn't join until a year later, so Fano's move predates Lomu starting by a year.

So maybe Lomu basically outright WON the left tackle job and forced Fano to move to RT?

If so we ended up with the better tackle at a later draft position? Something to think about.

I'm pretty sure we will need to package to get into the 50's for a decent tier 2 EDGE.

But the Patriots have shown a willingness to move up ahead of runs.

The move up for Lomu just demonstrated that. I feel like they will monitor the situation very closely and move up when they need to on Day 2.

Colleges really value the right tackle because so many QB are running option and running plays.

The logic is sound.

Moses is ancient and his contract is set up to be a cap casualty next year. Groom Lomu for a year to take over. He’s a key depth piece as a rookie too. The idea that teams don’t “red shirt” fist round picks ever is wrong. It happens when the situation makes sense. Moses could also regress to where you make the move this year too. Campbell or Moses could get hurt. You never know.

Campbell had an overall good year at LT so you hope the playoff struggles were due to injury. But if he does fail, he could move to LG and AVT to RG to replace Onwenu (FA after the year). Then Lomu gets a crack at LT. Again, hope it doesn’t come to that but it’s an option if they need to. If Campbell does move to LG though it wouldn’t be mid season IMO, it would be next offseason when Onwenu was gone. For this year, he’d just get benched.

Remains to be seen if they got the evaluation of him and the other pick candidates right, but the position logic checks out for sure

Like I said before, not a deep draft. Would not have an issue at all trading whatever to get someone high in the 2nd and then ending this with 4 solid picks and maybe a flier.

Protecting Maye is a priority. Period. If you can't do that, who gives a **** about pass rush.
