They’ve had contact with Membou at his pro day. I don’t think we know of any contact with Walker. Walker, Jeanty and Warren are the only 4 pick adjacent prospects we’ve had no reported contact with. Interestingly we’ve met with very few from Ohio State and Georgia which suggests a comfort with the programs.Have Membou or Walker visited? Not sure what that says but it’s interesting.
Why?I'm out on Walker at 4. I'd much rather go Mike Green or Shemar.
He just doesn't have the experience playing at edge. Too much risk. Why?
I agree. He’s another player who needs a plan. Use him as a situational pass rusher, a spy and run blitzer. That’s how I’d use him. Vrabel says he wants a defense that disrupts and Walker in those roles would certainly do that. Would there be anyone better at keeping Josh Allen and Tua in check than Walker and his speed. I also like that people talk of him as having a defensive co-ordinator mind. Future defensive captain? Think Hightower with Jamie Collins’ athleticism. He just doesn't have the experience playing at edge. Too much risk.
i think he plays fast and violent. Looking at some videos out there on youtube he was strong against some SEC Linemen. I think he would fit in very well. He could play more of an off the ball role on early downs and versatile (coverage, Spy, Edge rusher or ILB Blitzer) on passing downs to confuse other teams qb.He just doesn't have the experience playing at edge. Too much risk.
I'll take Scourton in the 2nd.I agree. He’s another player who needs a plan. Use him as a situational pass rusher, a spy and run blitzer. That’s how I’d use him. My God! Am I talking myself into him?
Fair enough.I'll take Scourton in the 2nd.
It would be a mistake to play him at full time edge I think.i think he plays fast and violent. Looking at some videos out there on youtube he was strong against some SEC Linemen. I could make myself comfortable with Green but I'm going to be like Nico and I-am-a-leava on ShemarI'm out on Walker at 4. I'd much rather go Mike Green or Shemar.
That being said I feel most comfortable with Mason Graham.I could make myself comfortable with Green but I'm going to be like Nico and I-am-a-leava on Shemar
