2025 Patriots Draft Meetings Tracker

I agreed because he is smart and insightful but he’s wrong on Mason Graham. It happens to the best of us

You don’t like graham?
I do, he was my favourite option for 4 until we signed Milton Williams. Hopefully Barmore is healthy which means Graham just becomes a rotational player and with White likely to get interior snaps too I just think that Graham’s snap count would be too limited to take at 4.

Well we know Milton wasn't used every down so I could still see the need at DT.

It's not impossible but considering how much Milton is being paid, he'll be seeing the field a lot more than he did in Philly.

Also no news is good news on Barmore.

I think we Need another Rush DE more than Graham.

If Barmore is OK. Big if.

It also is a matter of BPA. We need blue chip players that disrupt a game at the most important time. Carter and Hunter have that potential. Who else? Like Scar says, at #4 you want someone to score a TD or sack the QB - totally disruptive plays at a critical time.

Jeanty it is then.

Here’s a comprehensive list of all pre-draft contacts.

Only 4 visits to Gillette by WRs, McMillan, Noel, Williams, and Lambert-Smith. McMillan is unlikely at #4, so look for the other two in R2/R3. KeAndre in R5 with a kicker also? I assume we have 2 R5 picks because we are picking a place kicker.

One word on Lambert-Smith. Apparently he lined up almost exclusively on one side of the field which, apparently, is a bit of a red flag when predicting future success.

Yup. He is a late round pick, maybe 6th or 7th. We will see. He is a 4.3 sec 40 guy and the Pats seem to be looking for one or two speed receivers. Schefter said the Boutte might be on the trading block, I assume that is because the Pats want to get faster at WR.

I wonder why they didn’t look at Thornton. Maybe it’s a character thing but if you want a fast guy, get the one who’s also 6’5”. He’s low production for sure but then I don’t think Lambert-Smith is going to be a 70 plus catch a year guy either.

That contact list is very useful. Feels like we should expect DE/DT on day 2, maybe even a double dip. WR also seems a day 2 option. OT will be a first round priority. Round 3/4 a sweet spot for RB. Day 3 corner, linebacker and kicker seems like an aim.
