You can tell it's something he has worked on and improved. That's the scariest thing for the rest of the league this is pretty clearly not even his final form. I'm not saying I want him to go full Aaron Rodgers, that dude's risk taking is at like a 3, and is why he has so few 4q comebacks and playoff wins.
One of the many things Brady was almost flawless at was playing most of the game at a 5, but knowing exactly those got to have it moments cranking it up to an 8. It's why the fumble in the 2nd Eagles Superbowl was so surprising, Brady was usually so much better about feeling the rush and hitting White instead of waiting for Gronk down field.
Getting back to Maye, absolutely don't want him to change his style of play. It lets him hit big plays down field which for large parts of many games is the only reason we have been in them. It's one of the things I am concerned about that might knock us out of the playoffs. Live by the big play die by the big play when they don't connect like they usually do. I would just like him to be just a smidge better about knowing the situation, and living to fight another day if it's not there. Like I said though he's young and improving so I'm not super concerned about it.
