As for Jayden Daniels he was great his rookie season, hasn't been as great in year 2. Hopefully he hasn't hit his ceiling yet.
Washington had a solid roster around Daniels last year, that was key to them going so far into the playoffs.

They backslid in the offseason, then had injuries starting in training camp and never really found their feet for this season.

The call on Davis was complete BS MADE UP call since that ball was uncatchable since it landed more than 2 yards OOB
II never see “uncatchable ball” anymore.

Whoever we face, I'm just glad we will be facing them at home because the playoffs are so tough. It's really hard to predict how it will turn out.
Might see some old fashioned New England weather next weekend. You never know.

I asked this earlier. Anyone know why Pop played so much at the end?

That would be awesome. Love to have another game where the Running Game is the feature.. Play smash-mouth football.

Reverse of the 2nd Bills game for Maye. Underwhelming in the first half and terrific in the 2nd.
He figured something out about this type of defense. That is what the Bills also plays.

Apparently mcdaniels went to more spread in the second half to make it more difficult for SD to disguise what they were doing. And this made it easier for Maye to make his reads. Per bedard. This makes Alot of sense based on the results for Maye in the 2d half

I want Pittsburgh.

Mostly because that Texans defense might murder drake of Campbell and Wilson play that way again.

Man! Feels good to be talking about a second playoff game.
I prefer the texans .in a playoff game, i prefer the lesser known QB vs a potential HOF one as much beat up as he is. I have memories of noodle arm manning doing enough to score vs the pats .

My assumption was just because Pop was fresh. Get the fresh guy out there who still has lots of juice left in his legs to help close out the game.

Washington also has the oldest roster in the NFL.

I want Pittsburgh because they weren’t convincing to me the first time we played them. We played a crap game, lost the turnover battle, and still it was only a one score loss. From what I’ve seen of them I think we can handle them and avenge that loss.

I don’t like Houston because I know that they’re a tougher defense, and I don’t know how their offense matches up but doubt that matchup will be much better for us than Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh barely squeaked past the Ravens to get into the playoffs. I’m just not all the impressed by them. But most of all I like the redemption narrative we can earn by beating them to avenge the early season loss.

I know what you meant. The Pats MAN to MAN Coverage was significantly better than their ZONE coverage. I know they played some zone, but I didn't think it was 70%.

Agree and yeah. I wonder if it was less of a decision to plan man and more of a plan/willingness to blitz at a high rate against the Chargers OL.

I do agree that their man would be their best. But for some reason they really stuck with zone this year.

Seen on Reddit, according to the play by play:

In 25:32 of game time, between 1:11 of Q2 and 5:39 of Q4, the Chargers completed only one pass, for zero yards gained.

Poor play calling and execution met superior defensive performance.

Holy Sh-t just watched the replay on NFL+ after work. It's hard to avoid football news before I come home. I have my family and friends trained not to text me stuff. I like to watch the replay like its live with all the tension and mystery about the outcome. We know we got an offense but defense wins championships and we got that too! Recently I got a message from work to put in now for 2026 time off requests. I work all the time but I'm gonna put in for Super Bowl Sunday!
