I don't follow along to who specifically says what when so it's irrelevant how many times you have said he's great. The point is you can't say he sucks when he is playing poorly because that implies he is so bad he should be replaced and we can do better then him. Punky McMilfson sucks. See the difference?
There is no gatekeeping, as I said "Maye is playing poorly right now" when he is fumbling or throwing INTs is totally fine and a legit thing to say. You can have your opinion and express it, you just shouldn't lump one bad play into being bad all the time which is what Maye Sucks is saying.
