We are gonna be crying when Ben Johnson will be the HC of the jets
I do not see Ben Johnson going to a less than ideal spot for his 1st HC position. He does not strike me as a guy that will put himself in a position to fail, especially on a team that has so many holes.

Mayo said that he would have benched him but they don't have anyone else to replace him with. (paraphrasing)

That's why, especially if they insist on using Onemenu as a Guard, it made no sense to waive Zach Thomas when they did, only to replace him with yet another Guard named Robinson who also Sucks.

This team has allowed itself to not have anything resembling even a replacement-level, backup-caliber Swing Tackle on its 53-man roster.
Un-****ing-believablle.

The sad realization is that Kraft is not going to fire Wolf or Mayo. It is going to be up to Mayo to move on from Covington as DC and I just don't think he is going to do that.

For all the flak Mayo is getting, it should be at least as bad for Wolf and Groh. Yes they selected Maye, but so did most of us. After that, the draft was bad and we have no OTs and no WRs, among other needs.

Tough choice between working for Woody Johnson or Robert Kraft, but having Drake Maye would tip the scales if the Pats want him.

Joe Milton lol.

Unless you like your QB's not being able to read defenses and overthrowing a checkdown by 20 yards he's fine where he is at QB3.

The call was ridiculous but challenging there gives the Phins a 1st down either way.
Yeah, but the fact is the penalty would be five yards and a first down. The ******** confirmed challenged reception was seventeen yards, and ridiculously confirmed! Twelve yards is twelve yards. The Patriots were bleeding yards anyway, I guess.

Not similar situations. Saleh had his chance. And their GM was their GM for a while. Mayo and Wolf will be getting their chance. That means at the very least one more year of them if not two.
They have had their chance and done nothing with it.
Why don’t want to keep them around and keep losing? It’s bizarre.
You can’t name a single thing they have done well.

When he sees how they deal with their coaches, he'll be battering on the door!
The jets are excessively patient with their coaches.

Saleh was bright back after 3 losing seasons and an 18-33 record
Gase was allowed to finish out a 2-14 season.
Bowles got 4 years, and retained after back to back 5-11s.
Ryan got 6 years with the last 4 being 26-38

Each got more patience than Kraft gave Bill Belichick. (And Pete Carroll too)

They're rookie coaches. Saleh and the GM were not.

I actually like Pop, he needs to learn though.
Not every play is designed to be hit in stride to take it to the house, some are to move the chains.... especially with the sieve we have for an OL.

Maybe, whose going to teach him?

Ladd is a natural chain mover…would have been the perfect guy for Maye. Then we could add a mike Evans deep threat in JET and be set.

Mayo’s safe just because of how low the bar was based off last year.
We had 4 wins last year. This year we have 3 wins. Doubtful we win any of our last 5 games and maybe one more win. So Mayo ends up with 3 or 4 wins which means he is fired like BB.

I hope, honestly.
Forget the talent it’s sloppy coaching bad game management and just it’s a very sloppy football operation,

You have to cut the head off which is Mayo here.

Maybe. But at this point last year we had 2 wins.
