Props to Gonzo for the game he played. Dude clearly looked like he was walking gingerly getting off the bus and still played a stellar game.

How much draft capital do you want him to give up? Teams that buy at the deadline are potential contenders looking to get over the hump. The Pats weren't that. The draft picks are more valuable than a player they're only going to rent for a year or two.

This team has several keepers, but the needs go well beyond two or three players. They've stacked up salary cap space (estimated at $139M in 2025) and will have a lot of early picks to add rookies or trade for key veterans. With the Patriots' QB already in place, having top three picks in each round gives them maximum leverage with the many teams looking for a QB, or some team looking to move an offensive lineman for cap purposes either before or right after the 2025 draft.

As much as I would love to see them win games, at this point it makes sense to see as much playing time from the younger players to know for sure who to keep and who to move on from this Spring.

Another example of Pop missing the empty space in the zone and made the catch way more difficult than it should’ve been! Seem to be a recurring theme. Pop should be a WR4 at the very best in a good receiving core.

Our defense is a mess.
Our GM went to free agency and signed zero good players.
The owner hired the HC for reasons not related to winning football
The OC is a guy who wasn’t allowed to call plays and STILL got fired. By the BROWNS
Our HC routinely publicly insults the players and refuses to take blame.
Players don’t seem to care when they get blown out.
We have picked up numerous waiver wire players and they play major minutes, some start.

We are pretty much as broken and a joke as the Jets have ever been.

Keeping him employed when you know he isn’t the answer is Jeteist of jete.
Firing Sakeh was actually the anti-jete move as they haven’t changed coaches in mid-season since Lou Holtz and his fight song quit in 1976.

So actually by firing their HC and getting a jump on the hiring process the jete did the non-jete thing, finally wiring up but we are going to be jete-like and copy their history.
