Well Patriots Nation, you’ve waited almost two seasons since his last appearance and following what was “unequivocally the sweetest” championship in franchise history, NFL Commissioner and Patriots fans public enemy number one, Roger Goodell confirmed he will be in attendance on opening night against the Kansas City Chiefs on September 7th.
Speaking at a New York Jets training camp fan forum on Monday, Goodell shared the following answer when he was asked about the game.
Roger Goodell on if he's still planning on going to Foxboro for opener: "Yeah." Any concerns, based on how Pats fans feel? "No, not at all."

While Goodell may be “not concerned”, the news adds even more intrigue to what should be an already entertaining night when the Patriots unveil their fifth championsip banner now literally in the Commissioner’s face.
Game on.
