Edelman and Welker were never outside receivers and Addison was used in college primarily as an outside guy. Outside guys need speed at the next level. Addison is still a great receiver but he will drop with his weak 40 time. No-one will draft Addison in the first half of R1 to convert to a slot receiver. Welker and Edelman were UDFAs. There is a huge difference between an outside and slot receiver.
Underwear speed and game speed are not the same - no **** Sherlock. Stop posting obvious stuff like you are insightful. Try to play nicely with others.
And they may not. I never assume with BB. Good to have that Comp. Pick in the bank.Only get a Comp pick IF they don't sign someone that off-sets it. And they are very likely to sign an OT that will more than off-set it.
Rice was not a field stretcher and played in a different era. There are always a few exceptions. Statistically how you "run in a straight line in your underwear" is important for a field stretcher. That is why the combine has that test and everyone covers it. Look at the vast majority of success stories, not the few exceptions. The draft is about stats because athleticism wins the majority of the time in the NFL.
Maybe if your posts weren't repeatedly filled with the same ignorance over and over again, I wouldn't have to dumb down my posts for you.
These are outstanding.
I repeat if we draft a receiver I want Obrein and scouts to make that decision with. NO input from Belichick. That 3-cone is certainly eye catching. If there is one test that is a very solid predictor of who the patriots will take at the track positions it is the 3-cone.
We don’t need a one cut and gone back we have that from last years draft we need the next James White.Running back I like is Pittsburgh's, Israel Abanikanda. One cut and gone, needs work in the Passing game, but I think the Pats can work on it. Home run hitter all the way.
If that's the case rather sign Fournette then. He's like Keith Byars, big pass receiving back. I think the Pats can work IA into passing game.We don’t need a one cut and gone back we have that from last years draft we need the next James White.
Do you have any names of guys who could be the next James White? I agree with you that we could use the next James White but I’m not sure who that guy is. Maybe Gibbs or Deuce Vaughn? We don’t need a one cut and gone back we have that from last years draft we need the next James White.

I am just starting to look at the backs In this draft class I think it’s more of a veteran addition a Clyde Edwards Helaire or a Miles Sanders.Do you have any names of guys who could be the next James White?
