2016 Draft Prospect Thread

What do you guys think of Jakeem Grant, WR Texas Tech as a UDFA prospect? He's small but lightning quick. He has a great quick twitch and the top end speed to break things open once he gets outside. He would be potent in the screen game and could also contribute as a returner on special teams. Having watched him, he reminded me a lot of a shiftier Wes Welker from his college days.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Grant get drafted, he is only 165lbs which sounds light but when you consider he is under 5'6" it is not that light.

Genuine question. How many 5'6" players are there in the NFL?

Is Mighty Mack Herron still playing?

Not many probably 2-3, but making the NFL is all about overcoming adversity, so it's possible.

Ivan Fears is at Notre Dame's pro day. Looks like they're scoping out Prosise.

I like this move. Even though this kid is not the fastest or the most experienced, or the biggest, his style seems suited for our offense.

He's 6' 220 and ran a 4.4. How much bigger or faster were you looking for?

Trevor Davis. Nice.

BB will like this level of hustle from Cal TE Stephen Anderson.

When I heard this news, I started looking harder at Prosise and I REALLY like what I see. He's tall and he's fast, but what stands out to me is his excellent vision. He seems to just have incredible field awareness. I think he would be an insanely good pairing with Lewis. I also appreciate the fact that he is a former receiver and safety.

I would love to rotate him in as a PR/KR.

Is it feasible to think he could be had in the third?

I think the Pats may be looking at him with pick 61. They've been known to take guys higher than where pre-draft rankings had them slated before.

Hello Julian...errr, Daniel Braverman

Yeah, maybe. I have this feeling that Bill's gonna trade that second for a third & fifth, though. Maybe they take him with 60. I would be fine with it, honestly.

I'd rather them spend that pick on the OL or DL, to be honest. I like Prosise as a prospect but he still needs a lot of seasoning. For one, he runs very upright which is a hard habit to break. I'd rather the team looked at the position in the third.

I hear you. I would rather it be addressed in the third too but I am itching for a talented RB at the same time.

I think it's very feasible that Prosise is still available in the 3rd, even as late as our 2 end-of round 3rds.

Just 'settle' for Jonathan Williams at the end of the third/fourth. I think he's the second best RB in this draft.

Agree. I wouldn't force it at RB. At least one of Howard, Procise or JWill will be there at 91.

I love Williams too. Would be thrilled.
