Here the local ABC outlet showed a graphic right before the draft saying that the 11PM news would be on after the draft.

I bet NFL got the word that most of the stations would be switching off at 11PM so you better get things done by then.

At a very basic level, it seems like a big win to get an OT 28th on the consensus big board at 28, given that the OTs at 31 and 33 on the consensus big board actually went 17 and 21.

IMO, AR being a loser when his team needed him most was a bigger ‘reason’ than choosing Love, who’s shown promise. AR, like Peyton, was only able to win the SB when his D lead the team to the title.

That’s the mirage most outsiders saw. Post 2011, the Packers roster had holes the team failed to address. They didn’t have a running game for years and defense got bullied continually by the better teams. They had to resort to desperation and convert Ty Montgomery to RB which was a joke. Rodgers always got the blame because he was so good carrying the team during the regular season. Josh Allen is going through the same thing.

Disappointed for Felger and Mazz that the Pats didn't pick a guy called Jaccas, that would have been right up their alley.

I'm cool with the Lomu pick. People gotta remember this guy is young and only played two years at the college level, and has a lot of positional flexibility. A year of pro-level coaching and weight training is just what he needs right now.

If we did anything opposite than Felger and Maz then Lomu is on his way to the HOF.

I wonder if Campbell is any better of a fit at RT than Lomu. Seems like they’re very similar players but Lomu has much better wingspan to help against the tougher assignments at LT. Maybe you could put Campbell at RT but feels weird and probably not something they could attempt until 2027 anyway.

Some folks see Lomu as natural LT.

Campbell could move to LG. Then you got LT, LG and C basically brand new. NE found Moses needing an RT and he has worked out very well IMO.

IF we get A.J. we have to win the way Peyton Manning use to by out scoring other Teams. I hope we keep Boutte now for this year we'd be all set @ WR.
