BB&NYG together that would be fun to watch. BB is still on a massive downward spiral, has been for years now. He is ridiculed incessantly online and in the press, he just needs to retire.I think the NY Giants are going to go after Bill Belichick.
I think he's way too old right now, just the energy needed to do it is tough.I was head-bobbing with you until this last one.
That was kinda a big part of the problem his last several years in NE. Now that all his protoges are spread to the 4 winds; MAYBE he could pull them back together .... but more likely is he would need to find new 'guys he trusts' and he just wasnt terribly good at finding NEW guys like that.
I get there should be tons of folks who would like the resume enhancer of "worked under BB". But he didnt want to expand his tree at the end and we got stuck w/ the DC running the offense. so what is new now that he is 4 yeas older and crotchety-er
He can’t be traded he is a free agent. If Lowe plays like that for the rest of the season, this LT who so many here wanted banished, would likely bring a good trade return if the Pats were willing to move him.
3rd rounder?
Of course, if he plays that well he would be worth keeping as the backup.
Then he stands to be in demand, and will get a nice payday. He can’t be traded he is a free agent.
Providing he plays well and doesn’t look like last year. Then he stands to be in demand, and will get a nice payday.
Wherever he signs, it will be backup money. It could be a decent raise, but I can’t imagine any scenario where a team signs him with projected starter LT money. I guess stranger things have happened tho. Then he stands to be in demand, and will get a nice payday.
There are a lot of teams with bad LTs who might over pay a different bad LT based on 3-4 ok games.Wherever he signs, it will be backup money. It could happen, lots of bad GMs out there. There are a lot of teams with bad LTs who might over pay a different bad LT based on 3-4 ok games.
Free agency often pays players based upon the best possible evaluation of them and accepting all excuses rather than a biter beware approach. It could happen, lots of bad GMs out there.
Maybe last year was due to injury and our dumpster fire coaching, and he can actually be a decent NFL player.
I’m still skeptical.
The reason why they haven't clinched is because there are currently too many teams with at least a .500 record in the AFC. As of right now, there's 10 out of 16 teams. If the Steelers, Ravens and Bills lose, they are in.I get that. It's still a joke that a team leading the league with 11 wins hasn't clinched. I get all the scenarios, ect.. however it still asinine. And to your point they are division leader. Just my opinion..
God you are cheerful.
I had a good experience in the cold.
It was really nice to trade the head-shaking of coming out of the stadium after another loss for the elation of a win. So I'm 1-2 for the season, at least. The singing (or is that "singin"?) of "Livin on a Prayer" was great in our section.
And my companion for the evening had a particularly funny moment. We were talking to a gloomy Giants fan about who might take over. He wasn't optimistic and I was politely trying to console him -- "You've got some good players -- things can change quickly" -- when my friend chipped in: "It's set up perfectly for Belichick, isn't it?"
What? You are just waving a wand and making them 3-4 games worse for no reason?
If 7 of the other 15 were 6-6 or better we couldn’t clinch at 11-2 unless we had a heart head tie breaker over a 6 loss team. The reason why they haven't clinched is because there are currently too many teams with at least a .500 record in the AFC. Schedule doesn’t have that effect. Can you name 3-4 teams we haven’t played they we would lose to?Schedule.
