Tavai: “Booing fans should know their place”

The fact that Tavai tripled down on his comments after Mayo allegedly spoke to him is telling. To me, it means a number of things.

Mayo sucks at communion and failed to impress upon Tavai how his PR blunder created ill will with an already disgruntled fan base.

Mayo did fine at communicating and Tavai went rogue. His voice matters! That means he doesn't respect Mayo.

Tavai is dense, a galactic buffon, and has little self-awareness.
OR ... Mayo is down with Tavai's message

or we're just more cranky.................
No question.

Overall. I think we've actually been fortunate to have good coaching the last 45 years. BB, Tuna, and even Pom Pom were obviously good. Pom Pom had more to learn but overall he did fine.

Mac was a good coach but had nothing to work with and then his health failed him.

Rod Rust was brutal but like Mac, crap talent to work with.

Raymond Berry was good.

Even Ron Meyer had some success here before he played Game of Thrones with Pat Sullivan and got Lord Bailish-ed

Erhardt was ok but not an org builder.

Mayo is Rod Rust no question.

I'm with ya except for Mac.

Good college coach, a little too rah rah for the pro game.

Fairbanks was the best of all except the two Bills. Don't know what happened to him after here.

Mac was rah rah no question but that org needed it after all that BS. Going 6-10 in 1991 with that pile of **** was a great job.

Fairbanks was a bit before my time but no question he was in the "very good" category.

Fairbanks was awesome and the Sullivans not leaving him alone to do his thing was a worse foul up than anything the idiot Krafts have done, as bad as they are.

The drama...

Hey Jahlani.....Your sorry ass team has put up a grand total of 2 home wins over the past two seasons. You are at best a mediocre NFL player that should know his place and not criticize the fans who pay your bloated salary. You should look in the mirror before criticizing us fans, many of which like myself have been spending our Sundays in Foxboro since before you were born. If you see krafty Bob, please let him know that after 32 years as a season ticket holder, your comments are truly giving me pause on re-upping for season 33.

I have a simple fix for this… Fire Mayo and cut the players insulting the fans trying to defending him. Problem resolved
Kraft cannot fire Mayo.

Everything broke down. Wolf failed in FA and the Draft. Sure Maye is legit, but Jocoby was 1 - 4 when Maye took over. Maye had 66% of the season to turn it around as a rookie.

I don't get the vitriol for Mayo. He's a rookie HC with rookie coaches who inherited a **** roster. He's also working for what appears to be dysfunctional ownership.

All I'm saying is give Mayo a chance. He's still learning.
I’m not interested in having a coach who still has to learn how to coach. Would you go to an untrained surgeon and give him a chance to learn on you?

Tavi needs to know his place. If he and the rest of the team played error free ball and still lost because of lack of talent that would be one thing, i would back him, but they don't. They make the same mental errors game after game. They false start, don't line up properly, shift illegally etc. Until they can play error free he needs to shut the **** up.

Has nothing to do with record

Who else was wondering who the hell and how the hell Tavai made it on field in 2022?

Remember the Terez Hall days as well?

Dear Eliot, Please provide Mr. Tavai with his prerequisite “Participation Trophy” before dispersing him to the Waiver Wire at your earliest possible convenience.

Regards, A Concerned Pats Fan

Fairbanks was a great coach.

I hope he makes the HOF.

He would be better recognized as great if he didn’t have to work for the Sullivans.

I believe one of his drafts his first four picks were Mike Haynes, Pete Brock, Tim Fox, and Ike Forte.

FA and the draft have nothing to with wins and losses?

The new New England Patriots need stud players now more than ever. Before, BB had a system in place where you could plug and play and still keep winning.
