I get that. But reports were even from breer today that maye is inching closer to playing. The seasons over. This was a throw away year anyway just let your 3rd overall pick play and get on the field experience.

Explain this one. If playing Brissett is preferable to playing Maye, I assume you recognize Brissett stinks, so you must mean you think Maye is better off skipping a year of football. If so, why would you play him if brissett gets hurt?

That's exactly it. Mayo acts like he has some established record & system to trust and be patient with.
"commit to the process" and all this crap is useless when your only proof is league-worst.

In this Offense and behind this OL? If he can be a Franchise QB, he won't get the chance because he'll get seriously injured. Maye, combined with building a solid OL and other positions is the only straw of hope that we have at this point. If Maye gets killed, we won't even have that.

I've been in the same boat but there are 12 games left in the season. He needs the experience

He absolutely needs the experience (even if he's behind a solid OL next season, there will be growing pains for him). But the enhanced risk of injury (perhaps severe) is far too great for me to want to risk it. But again, experience for a young QB in general is absolutely a good thing.

New England front office put together a loan to get better.
They started at about the same place.
They had equal resources. One improved, the other digressed.

The Patriot OL had everyone available today except Andrews.

ROFL they did? What happened to Andrews? Wallace? Is that everyone that was available?

The rest is just speculation. The Pats were in such bad shape roster wise, it will take a couple years to figure out what's what.
