Matt Patricia no longer employed by the Pats.

He certainly was in over his head in his position last year. No shade coming from me though. He did a good enough job to help win this team a couple of superbowls. He was also seen wearing a clown nose Rodger shirt and the North Remembers shirt as well which tells me he agreed with Patriots fans that Rodger was a douchebag during the deflategate bs. Loved that open support from the guy.

I have my very own Stokoe the Clown shirt because of the photo of him wearing one while de-planing.

Are you guys even sure BB decides what to pay coaches and if he's given a budget from RK then it's RK that sets the budget.

The Broncos announced assistant coaching hires including new outside and inside linebacker coaches. Never of whom was Matt Patricia. Looks like no room in the inn for him with the Broncos.

This is an example of what I do have a problem with. Poster’s who have an agenda and just keep beating it to death, in the mistaken belief that people want to see them say the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and and over ……………….. There is a name for that——-*******.
Igor dont be triggered.

There is a name for that - snowflake.

Snowflake- I’m afraid I don’t qualify. I don’t need a gun to feel safe, and I’m not afraid of everyone who isn’t like me. Those criteria go to MAGA Assholes. You know, like you. Now, go burn some books, if you do it inside it will heat your house for awhile.

The QB makes the OC and not the other way around.

Now, the right OC can help a QB reach his potential IF the QB has the ABILITY. But, no NFL OC has turned a plie of crap into gold. John Elway was misused by Dan Reeves and Wade Phillips, but Elway was always a winner going back to pee wee football. Elway had the talent and do things on the field that only few QBs could match.

Snowflakes are all ages.

Go to your safe space. And wear your mask!

But,. I think thought according to triumph that Patricia was just fine and "corky" held him back?

Bill must be making a big mistake!

This has to be the dumbest argument I have ever seen on this board. How anyone can watch last season and come away with this take is beyond me.

If you really think that Patricia was running a competent NFL offense despite all we now know and what we watched and the decisions made by Bill/Kraft I'm not sure what to tell you.

Your hatred of Mac Jones may have given you brain rot.

I'm also guessing then that the Bucs failures on offense last year are solely due to Brady and not coaching then. correct? After all, the QB makes the OC.

Agreed. When we had Gilmore as the best CB in the NFL it was much easier to attack.
Thank you!!!!! Nice to read something that actually is factual and makes sense.. furthers my point that we need to be seriously trying to trade for Ramsey..
Cases for Ramsey:

He is still a top 5 corner in the League
He is in a bad scheme fit in LA
He's still In his prime
Rams would have to absorb some of his salary, as they see the ones who need draft capital.

He is the missing piece here that makes us from great defense to elite.

We get him, Mayo can do so much more things with the other 10 guys..

I'm expecting a 2nd tier WR and hopefully a top tier CB.. it's feasible..

If RK is serious about becoming a contender again, wich I feel He is then these are moves that have to be made..

I like Jon jones.. plays hard and gives it his all.. but he's like the little engine that could when it comes to elite WR'S..

Not sure Gilmore being dominant furthers the point we need Ramsey. Maybe furthers the point we need a CB at #14 in the 2023 draft?

No it actually does.. as Mike Tomlin once said watch the tape... going back to law.. a lock down corner is the DNA of a patriots defense... Brady had to score on dam near every possession when we were devoid of one until Talib came along..

Wilhite, Wheatley, sterling Moore, Arrington, all undersized CBs who didn't excel in man coverage...

I don't know if I'm solely relying on the draft, yes it's great if we can get one in the draft... but I don't see a sauce in this draft? But hey you never know... I'd still explore Ramsey if I'm serious about contending

Your points about the benefits of a lockdown corner are spot on. Having the ability to dial up pressure at the end of games with man coverage on the other teams best receiver has been successful in the past with Law, Talib and Revis. The debate is how to get one on the roster. If the Pats could get Ramsey on a Revis style prove it contract, he is worth considering. I don't think he is worth a multi year, top of the pay scale contract with a lot of guarantied money.

The website is notoriously inaccurate.
I've found that to be true many times on line. The most disappointing came when I saw on line that there was a Santoro's pizza and sub shop here in our new city and when I went to the address and saw the sign I was super excited. It turned out that the sign was the only thing left and a new mexican place was there instead.

and the sons (won't happen).
Why?

They have been here a long time... Steve has a decades worth of coaching experience, Brian has 6 years in the system... both have done their jobs well over the years they have been here... In fact the safeties under Brian have done really well...

Absolutely, it's such a vital thing to have on a defense.. having to go against mahomes this season having that lock down guy.. is pivotal he can check kelcey on 3rd down taking him away while judon or Uche can get to him.

But your right, how do we obtain him.. your idea is spot on with revis type deal.. this feels like a revis move to me?
