I read on Twitter that Damar's father is "calling for any criticism of Bengals WR Tee Higgins to stop." Is this a real thing? How and why would Higgins be taking on criticism? For slightly lowering his helmet on the play? Happens all the time and often way more aggressively than he did on that play.

Reportedly the father said it during an ESPN interview (I don't know if that part or any of the interview has aired yet).

Not sure if I read his entire comments regarding the play but it didn't sound like Scott was being overly critical of Higgins. Said something about lowering his head which the league has tried to remove. Scott's problem is he can't shut up and he just carries on so long about the same thing that his words get overstated. Then again I could be unaware of something else he may have said.
