Can we please root for our quarterback to be ok?
It feels like some people are hoping for him to be hurt just to justify his reaction to the pain.
Personally, I’d much rather see him have a shot to turn his season around. And see us have a better chance to win games during the middle of the season rather than play with Hoyer.
Definitely rooting for him to be ok. Worry is just the macho men in the locker room. Football locker room is an interesting social experiment.

Hope he's okay. Need him to be more clutch though. Few opportunities today and couldn't get it done

I have been pessimistic about the OL & Receivers, but I still believe in Mac Jones.

Just a guess….. He hates this offense and his frustrations have fueled the turnovers.

Maybe we will get lucky & get Josh back
next year & they can go back to an offense
That seemed to have good results

Could the Int have played a part in his reaction? I also feel he is not as hurt as his reaction was. Time will tell, but his crying in this game is becoming too much. I have seen players with their leg broken with bone sticking out not reacting like this. All I am saying is that, he can't cry like that and this not being a serious injury. The MRI is what is needed, probably some tearing of soft tissues that hurts as much as bone breaking. Will give him benefit of doubt here.

What do you think…. He is Jason Tatum ?
Oh….. my shoulder !

Mac Jones needs to sit next week. He's just gonna get killed out there the way our OL 'protects'. It's not like we're going to beat the Packers.

Let Hoyer or Zappe eat up some snaps and make sure Mac is 100% healthy before bringing him back, preferably against an easier opponent, like the Lions for example!

His ints are ridiculous , defenders aren’t even having to make nice plays, he’s literally throwing it right to them.
So many dropped INTs by the opposition this year. Wonder what's going on upstairs.

Maybe he just really needed to poop.

NFL made the Mcdaniels rule he couldn’t come over this season, even if he was fired next week.
The only references I can see to a "McDaniels rule" are from 2018, and would've allowed a team to announce a new hire before the old team has ended its playoff run. It was tabled.

I hear ya and it’s true. But he is making good throws. This isn’t something where he’s playing all bad all game.
True but his consistent brain farts are concerning

Depending on this Injury our guy may not even be back before Thanksigiving.

I mean, I hope he's ok. It's just that looking at Trey Lance being carted off the field after actually breaking his ankle, you saw no signs of what Mac showed today.

Maybe his tolerance to pain is lower than other players, idk. If it turns out he's fine, which I hope is the case & that would be great, but that would make him a bit of a drama queen, imo.

I don't think the Lions are that much worse than the Pats to be honest. Both teams are sitting at #7 in the WC race, with same overall record & conference record. The main difference is in scoring differential:
Lions: 95-93 (+2)
Pats: 50-71 (-21)

People don't seem to want to admit it but on his showing so far this season, we won't even miss him.
Does it matter? Next man up it can't be worse. Guy came crying off the field like his leg was ripped out of his socket by brock lesnar and watch he'll play in 2 weeks and throw another 2+ INTs.
If it turns out Mac doesn't even have a sprain, you have to wonder if he's just a big drama queen. X-rays after Wk 1 for the back, nothing. X-rays after Wk 3 for the ankle, nothing. Crying off the field like his foot was amputated. Is he taking over Big Ben's gig? Jesus.

These are posts worthy of Jete fans. Yes, we will miss him. Yes, it can be worse. Yes, people react to pain differently, reaction to pain is not a test of manhood. Sorry if Mac's behavior offends your sensibilities. Let's see how you react to a NFL player intentionally taking a cheap shot by dropping his entire weight onto your body with your leg in an awkward position.

Looked painful

Wonder how much of that was fear and thinking the worst rather than straight up pain.
You mean like when he was walking like a 99 yo man after the Dolphins loss fearing he broke his back? If he's going to act in fear because of an injury after every loss, he's got a long season ahead of him.
