Yea thats trueThey have to pay out all of Hoyer’s guarantees including 2023. It's 1.76M to have him on the roster, 3M to cut him. It'd be 3M + vet min to cut him and re-sign him.

I'm guessing Bethel and Cody Davis as the cut and re-signs. Little to no dead money.Yea thats true
Slater has guarantees which would be paid. Wouldn't we have to pay again for the new contract?I'm guessing Bethel and Cody Davis as the cut and re-signs. Little to no dead money.
Edit: Actually Slater would make more sense than Bethel, he's only 150k. I'm going to swap in him.
I presume that you aren't adding Slater because of his contract guarantees..
I think it’s time to say goodbye to Davis and Bethel.
You need one of Slater or Bethel.I presume that you aren't adding Slater because of his contract guarantees.
He actually tied for the team lead in offensive snaps (34), but only had 2 catches for 7 yards.I have not seen any snap data yet , did Humphrey play in the Raiders game ?
Thanks for that , where did you see that ??....did Mike Reiss tweet the snap count ?He actually tied for the team lead in offensive snaps (34), but only had 2 catches for 7 yards.

If this kind of nonsense is deemed necessary, then for me, Cardona makes the most sense. He could be cut and then signed to a new extended contract.
Shoot, yes you’re right. Yeah idk then, Bethel’s seem a little high.Slater has guarantees which would be paid. Wouldn't we have to pay again for the new contract?

Zappe shouldn't make the 53-man roster. He doesn't even look like a serviceable backup. Chances are they can sign him to the practice squad after no other team wants an undersized and weak-armed quarterback who looks like a pick machine. Too much lack of depth elsewhere to carry 3 quarterbacks.PUP isn't possible for either of them because they're not on it already, and PS would require placing 4th round rookies on waivers.
Slater doesn't count. I'm keeping Humphrey over Nixon.WR (7) D.Parker, K.Bourne, N.Agholor, J.Meyers, T.Thornton, T.Nixon, M.Slater
TE (3) H.Henry, J.Smith, D.Asiasi
Zappe is definitely making the 53. At times he has looked like a rookie but has also had his moments, especially against Carolina. The last two or three cuts are going to be very difficult but Zappe will be on the roster.Zappe shouldn't make the 53-man roster. He doesn't even look like a serviceable backup. I don't doubt your accuracy here. I'm saying he shouldn't make the roster. So is Hoyer getting cut? My feeling is they're screwed either way if Jones takes a step back or gets injured but Hoyer at least is a competent backup if he's needed for the short-term (2-3 games)... I'm not trusting Zappe in that spot. Honestly I don't see any redeeming qualities in Zappe.Zappe is definitely making the 53. Belichick has never cut a rookie 4th rounder. He's not starting now.Zappe is definitely making the 53. At times he has looked like a rookie but has also had his moments, especially against Carolina. The last two or three cuts are going to be very difficult but Zappe will be on the roster.
I agree with Humphrey over Nixon. I'm 50/50 on Asiasi.Slater doesn't count. I'm keeping Humphrey over Nixon.
I'm all done with Asiasi. Certainly a better TE will get cut somewhere else that the Patriots can go after if they want. Asiasi has no future in the NFL.
