After 3 years of trying to get a multi year contract to stay, in which the Patriots didn't want, he decided to move on. Pretty clear right?
So your comment regarding IF HE WANTED TO STAY, which is all
I was responding to was wrong. Correct?

Both teams offered 50 million for 2 years.
That is what i said. You are arguing I says something different. Why?
Your inferiority complex is causing you to act like a child.
SO the Patriots offered Revis 32 million over 2 years right?

You have yet to show me the contract they put in his face that matches...They were willing, based on hindsight...Didnt do it for 3 years though. Your POV is guessing what you think would have happened. I have provided evidence as to what we know happened. They offered a 2/53 deal, which didnt disclose guarantees...which meant it was a 1 year deal with a voidable year...Looks nice to the casuals though.
Undisclosed means what you wish it means huh?

When Brady said he was hitting the Free Agent market Kraft offered to match whatever he got. Brady said, nope, I’m gone.
How difficult is that for you to comprehend?
I don’t think it’s difficult at all, I think you are twisting and manipulating the conversation into something it isn’t because you can’t admit you were wrong.

1) Before Brady became a free agent the amount of money the patriots offered was the same amount he eventually signed for. (Technically a little more)
2) When Brady decided to pursue free agency he went to krafts house to tell him and Kraft offered a) to match whatever offer he got and b) asked him if there was anything he could do and Brady said no, im gone.

That is what I have consistently said all along through this thread while you have constantly twisted and lied that my argument was something different.
How about you limit your comments on my opinion to what my opinion is instead of making one up that you feel you can argue against

Its pretty easy to figure out what undisclosed meant in this situation right? If one side was begging for long term deals, and the other offered it...why wouldnt he take it? Probably because undisclosed meant there were void years/limited guarantees, which the deals he was under had in them.

Your point number 1 is manipulation, you chased the headline rather than reading hte details...Not all things are equal, clearly

So he factually played here for 2 years and earned 32 million correct?
Wow. What is your first language? Should we try another?
Revis was offered 32 million.
12 the first year and 20 the second.
Not staying for the second year doesn’t make what he was offered different.

No point in talking to him. It's been happening for years with Andy. Whenever he's proven wrong he'll just go in circles forever. That's why he's become a punchline on this site.

You mean the team option? He couldnt have stayed and earned that 20 unless the Patriots wanted to keep him for that price. See how non guarantees work. Thanks for playing a part in our demonstration

I mean, we knew from the get go that was done to prevent franchise tag and to get Revis 17M for one year and spread out 5M of it to year 2 to reduce his cap hit to 12M for year 1. Calling it 2/32 mill is really not functionally what the deal was.

Who are you or anyone else to say Brady has ALL the money he needs. Take a look around. The ultra wealthy keep trying to make more. Is Brady any different from 99% of the other athletes in pro sports? Lets look at other top players in sports

Lionel Messi - $41m per year
Lebron James - $38m per year
Aaron Rodgers - $50m per year
Mike Trout - $37m per year

I assume all of these guys have ALL the money they need, but still have large contracts. Brady wanted a multi-year commitment from the Pats in 2017 and again in 2018. If he couldn't get it then there was no chance BB was gonna change his mind as Brady got older. Brady saw the writing on the wall and knew to get a multi year commitment it would have to be elsewhere. That's on Kraft and BB.
BS - There was really no way for the Pats to keep Brady, He was already out the door in 2019. His house was on the market BEFORE that season, And as for whether he had "enough money" When you can buy anything you want, whenever you want it, then THAT's enough money, and Brady and his wife reached THAT point many many years ago. So no, it was NEVER about the money and ALL about the kind of team he was going to have around him. And that team was NOT going to be competitive just look at the roster and the cap situation and how much WORSE it was going to be if Brady got his money, Hell they were cap strapped all of 2020 and they were paying their QB $1.5MM, What would have been the situation if they had Brady on board for $25+MM, What other cuts would have had to be made off a bad roster to start with??

Brady is NOT dumb. He can look at a roster and know what he'd be playing with, Why waste the last few years of his career working through a rebuild, The answer IS, "he wouldn't" And he didn't, Let if go, Brady leaving wasn't Bill's or Bob's fault, it was all Brady and HIS situation. Nothing was going to stop that train from leaving the station, and he made the right decision,

Interrupting this riveting discussion about cap space and Brady's contract 3 years ago

What's your perception of Flores after all this? Besides the "im glad he screwed the dolphins", which undoubtedly sweet for us.

But man, I kinda kept thinking about it last night. I know his teams had a lot of problems, but Ive always thought he OUTPERFORMED the talent in his roster... To think that his own franchise owner was sabotaging him... Why hire a Belichick-ean guy if you are ok with tanking? Not to mention that Flores got around this thru BB (No way it was an accident lol), even tho he worked with Brady for like a decade, in some capacity.

Like, I understand Dolphins fans being angry at him bc he directly impacted their ~bottom-line, but DAMN. This guy deserved a lot better than this. Against us, they kinda turned it around recently, much bc of him, and truly become a thorn in our sides in recent years. Maybe not developing Tua was a bit on him, somehow, but I can't see it (even the FO didnt want him).

I don't see how he can be seen as snitch too. Dolphins broke trust, first and in a much bigger scale. Was he supposed to just take all this BS?

Personally, I hope Flores gets a second wind in the league. Ill be hoping the Steelers offense is dreadful, but their defense solid, just like him.

I think Flores deserves a lot of respect. He took on the Dolphins and the NFL, even though it will likely hurt his chances of becoming a head coach again. He did what he thought was the right thing to do and that is commendable.

So if Brady wanted out so bad why did he ask the Patriots for multi year deals during his 2017 and 2018 contract negotiations?

I think it was pretty clear that he was telling the truth about the ongoings in that organization. And I 100% believe they talked to him about tanking games.

It was already clear to me, but it obviously isn't clear to you. It is hilarious how your paragraph 100% supports the point I am making and destroys the point you are trying to make. I said:

"While it is not permissible for Brady to reach out to Miami, he is not tampering if he does."

Your above paragraph - which never even uses the word "tampering" - proves my point by spelling out how a club is supposed to respond to being contacted.

OK, genius, then why wasn't Brady punished?
Hey Idiot

NFL Restricted Free Agents are allowed to contact other teams to shop for a better contract ONLY during the LEGAL tampering period. WHY? Because the NFL Franchise controls their rights just like the Patriots controlled Bradys rights in August of 2019.

The RFAs are legally tampering dumb axx. Brady was illegally tampering.

What is the legal tampering window?

In 2013, the NFL wanted to crack down on pre-free agency tampering by clubs via the introduction of the legal tampering period — a 52-hour window during which all pending unrestricted free agents are allowed to enter preliminary negotiations with the other organizations in the league, not just the ones that still hold their rights until the official start of free agency on March 17 at 4 pm ET.

The legal tampering window opens today at 12 pm and closes again when free agency and the new NFL league year start on Wednesday.

He literally signed a 1 year deal for 12m in 2014. The "average" was for 16m, which put him "on par" at the top of the pay scale for CBs with guys like Patrick Peterson

Just like all the fake nfl contracts that get announced every year, the 20m was so Revis could save face on the dollar value... you full well know the whole deal won't be paid out except in rare circumstances, like for quarter backs.

whoever brought Revis into this is an idiot, and they don't know as much as they think they know, regardless of what point they were trying to make.

Please read this and then go ponder why you're really posting here: Patriots reportedly tried to extend Tom Brady before 2019 season

“The Patriots offered him two years and $53 million in training camp in 2019, and Brady turned it down. He ultimately took what amounted be a raise of several million, and it gave him an out to leave the Patriots after the 2019 season.”

The Patriots tried to keep him but Tom wanted to leave. Look at his actions before he left. Look at how quickly he signed with a Florida team. He wanted to expand TB12 to Florida and he made the move.

In 2019, BB should traded his axx for 3 - 1st round picks.

Ring 6 said this was a 32 mil dollar deal though
