Hope this clears it up for you.

Contact by Player. If a club is contacted by a player (or his representative) who is under contract to or whose negotiating rights are held by another club, and such player has not been given permission to negotiate with other clubs, or such player is not in a permissible negotiating period under the terms of an operative collective bargaining agreement, then the contacted club is prohibited from (i) negotiating with the player or his agent; (ii) discussing even in general terms the player’s possible employment with the contacted club; or (iii) discussing the player’s contract or his potential or ongoing contract negotiations with his current club.

basically BRADY TAMPERED WITH MIAMII

I'd have to disagree here. Tampering means interfering with the contractual rights of a player not on your team, which the rule you cited above states. Brady didn't tamper, but definitely was a willing participant in negotiations with Miami.

It was already clear to me, but it obviously isn't clear to you. It is hilarious how your paragraph 100% supports the point I am making and destroys the point you are trying to make. I said:

"While it is not permissible for Brady to reach out to Miami, he is not tampering if he does."

Your above paragraph - which never even uses the word "tampering" - proves my point by spelling out how a club is supposed to respond to being contacted.

OK, genius, then why wasn't Brady punished?

Here Ill bold it for you. You provided evidence against you. Its the teams responsibility to not partake in discussions. youre welcome
We are at the point where the Brady haters post things that show they are 100% wrong. Hatred must be really blinding.

Still waiting for Ring 6 to show me one piece of evidence that shows the Patriots match the TB offer. I think ill die waiting

I mean it’s been obvious for a while now that our fan base is no smarter or better than any other fanbase anywhere else.

The player contract contains an obligation to work in the best interest of his team. Allowing a competitor to break a rule expressly designed to protect his team is a violation of his contract.
Both are in violation. One being in violation does not preclude the other from also being in violation.

But I guess as a Patriot fan you think it’s OK for Brady to help the Dolphins harm the team he plays for?

The fact that he did it to the Bucs too says a lot.

You will. Because I have made it exceedingly clear I am not here to take requests from you.
There was much written about it. If you want to learn google it.

The thing is I know this situation much better than you, I know you wont find it...Which is why you wont provide any evidence. It doesnt exist. False claims

OT to the TB cat fight...

Typical NFL cover up.
They got the punishment correct for the wrong offence.
Deliberately tanking affects people's careers, betting, revenue, is straight up cheating, and morally wrong (unless you're the NBA).
From what I read, there were witnesses to the tanking BRIBERY, attempt. It was not just a "he said/she said" situation. There was enough evidence there for an internal decision.

Tampering happens and is not so egregious IMHO.
The Pats should have gotten their pick because...I'm a Pats fan.

What youre saying is Brady forced the Dolphins to comply and talk to him? Wow what a stretch. Still, its not the players wrong doing. No matter which way you cut it

Why does your timeline start in 2019? He was asking for contracts after 17/18. Funny how you just skip 2 years
Regarding the 2019 emphasis, this thread is about 2019 and Brady's eager participation in Miami's tampering scheme while playing for NE and representing teammates as a captain.

After the 2017 season, NE still had 3 years of control over the then 40 yr old Brady: 2 years via contract, 1 year via franchise tag option.
So sure, 40 yr old Brady wanted to be extended to infinity while banking immediate new guaranteed coin.
Bill chose to stick with Brady's mutually agreed upon contract though he accommodated Brady (after a stealth training camp holdout) with a $5 mill pay bump for the 2019 season (when Brady was negotiating with Miami) and the removal of franchise tag control.
Brady took the new money, told the world how miserable he was, negotiated with Ross & Co throughout the season, all while the realtors were showcasing the McMansion before week 1.

We don't know if Ross/Beal reached out to Tom's people or Tom initiated the communication.

Either way, Miami tampered and Tom was negotiating with another team while under contract with NE and was not granted permission a full 8 months before the legal tampering period.

Excuse # 1 - You told me that Players tamper all the time. Still waiting for examples.

In fairness, it is tough to provide lots of evidence because naturally everyone involved wants to keep it quiet.

It's like masturbation. Everybody masturbates. But since most people don't disrobe and clean their guns while in line at Arby's, there is not a lot of evidence that everybody masturbates.

Louis CK does. Peewee Herman does. My chronic tennis elbow says I do. That's all the evidence I have that billions of people do it.

They don't? Oh...

yup, takes two to tango…

by better offers, you mean something that is relatively close to market value

Please read this and then go ponder why you're really posting here: Patriots reportedly tried to extend Tom Brady before 2019 season

“The Patriots offered him two years and $53 million in training camp in 2019, and Brady turned it down. He ultimately took what amounted be a raise of several million, and it gave him an out to leave the Patriots after the 2019 season.”

The Patriots tried to keep him but Tom wanted to leave. Look at his actions before he left. Look at how quickly he signed with a Florida team. He wanted to expand TB12 to Florida and he made the move.

If youd read the rest of that article, or what the article referenced...Jeff Howes report. Which I can screenshot for you. States that there was no indication of guaranteed dollars in the 2nd year, which is why brady turned it down. Just like when Revis signed here for 2/32. How long did he play here and how much did he earn?

So again, I ponder why you would post this? Im sure you know how valuable guarantees are in the NFL contract...right?
