Exactly. It was no secret he was going to be a free agent and as far as he was concerned the Pats passed on the opportunity he gave them to lock him longterm. There was no scenario where he was staying here after that. And any small glimmer of hope was gone when he actually saw how awful the offense was.

Him talking to the Dolphins did not effect us because we weren’t keeping him. The Bucs on the other hand have him locked up and he was maneuvering to leave them. That’s a different thing and they have much more of a reason to be upset after they gave him the contract he wanted, gave him control, and rolled out the red carpet.

If this was so blatantly obviously the state of affairs, then all TB12 had to do was have a simple talk with his buddy Krafty Bob and say "please give me a letter saying I'm free to quietly talk to other teams". If Krafty Bob says no, just leak that to the press.

Hard to argue that this didnt have an impact on any potential offer the Patriots could have made when you know you have a landing spot already lined up, with your agent saying "look, i think we got Sean Payton on board as well"... that upsets the scales beyond the tipping point, and creates a very difficult & decidedly unfair situation for the Patriots to be in...

And Tom did this - Over the course of the season - Multiple times. How you cannot be ****ing ripshit at him for these dealing is beyond imagination

FFS so Parcells is just as repsonsible as Brady for winning the 6 Super Bowls?

Some of this fan base has truly become a nut house the last couple years and it’s sad.

Parcells drafted the foundation that BB built upon.

Law, Milloy, Troy Brown, Adam V, McGinest, Ted Johnson, Bruschi. Adam V alone was money in 3 Super Bowls and the most clutch Kicker in the game. Bruschi was the heart and soul of the Patriot Way and of the team.

If I’m Flores I’m pissed because this doesn’t touch the main basis of the accusations he laid out about the blatant racial discrimination.

To summarize the league's position.....
